Yeah they're pretty rank. Whatever that stuff in the middle is, it sure as hell ain't of this Earth.

Worse: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinkie#Deep-fried_Twinkie I'm dry-retching even reading about it.

On the plus side, now's the time to stock up on them, as they'll be totes rare in a few years. There'll be a whole generation of obese adults in 2022 searching ebay for freeze dried twinkies for their expensive nostalgia hit.

RIP, you horrible American sugary bastard

The only good American thing I ever tried are the Hershey Cookies and Creme. Pretty decent.

And why is violence the only trait which passes from games to reality?

Why aren't Harvest Moon kids becoming farmers? Pokemon players becoming cock fighters? Streets of Rage players eating their food off the ground?

Okay, so I do the last one. But only within the 3 second rule!

    Fixed.

God of War players becoming psychopathic deities?
Final Fantasy players becoming effete boys with over conditioned hair and phallic gun swords?
Male dating sim players becoming even more gender confused.
Frog game obsessed players becoming romantically linked with nice boys from Balbriggan?
Boulder Dash players crawling back under that rock to stay? ;)

Still on Twinkies, I heard if you age them for ten years, they turn to liquor.

    You should watch this film...

Might make you reconsider the benefits of physically emulating cartoon characters ;)

I'm always watching Simpsons, sometimes I think I could have a chance at Mastermind with it

Been watching season 8 and 9 lately and the rot was all ready creeping in but the there was absolute stone clone classics like Cartridge Family and You Only Move Twice.

    Also some great lines:
    - 'it's my first day.,
    - 'the politics of failure have failed..'

Had a nice lecture that went a bit into psychology a bit. Found it interesting especially a bit that could explain the fanboy phenomenon. Basically if you ask someone to take a stance they will first take a side before thinking about it then use all their passion to argue for that stance, rarely taking into consideration any other arguments.

Martin Hall, I'm coming for you!

Can't get a job and this was offered free through FAS. Better than sitting on my ass applying for jobs knowing I won't even get an interview.

Application development and game design. Pretty much programming which I'm loving, game design which I thought I'd love until they told us it's all going to be casual stuff, and some other stuff thrown in there like User Centred Design and it's horrible group projects.

Just Java at the moment to get the basics.

Java is more than just the basics, good few jobs out there for people proficient in it. Everything's developed in it where I'm working.

Speaking of psychology, my brother's in his last year of an applied psychology degree which is basically a mix of psychology and IT, sounds like a neat course.
