Perhaps I could create a "So, What Was It?" thread? ;)

Each post in this thread would require about 5 replies to the original post with the words: I've never seen one before... no-one has but I'm guessing it's a Sega Dreamcast.

Or words to that effect. :P

Pitchfork review of the third Crystal Castles album:
Whether you listen to Crystal Castles or not, this is a time of confrontation, conflict, and stress, and the success of (III) is how it brings you close enough to the evil that men do to be shocked, repulsed, and affected by it.

    My review:

It's so far better than the second one.

Sometimes I like to read pitchfork just to read brain farts from the minds of people that are so hipster they'd send Johnny Ultimate running for the BLOPS2 midnight launch.

My 'favourite' thing about Pitchfork is that you can often read a full review and still have absolutely no idea what a reviewer thinks about the album in question except for the random numbered score they seem to have plucked out of the air.

Also, is it me or has the Black Ops II launch been fairly...low key? Maybe I just haven't been paying that much attention to the hype.

I'm guessing that it didn't break records like BLOPS did.

No, only 10 trillion on the first day it brought in. Poor games industry, thank god for kickstarter

I didn't see much hype about it either

Right, help me make up my mind.
45 for Doom 3, Lollipop Chainsaw and Ridge Racer Unbounded for PS3 but without cases or instructions...

Might be able to get them cheaper online separately. Ridge racer was £15 new for the limited edition when I was in England.

Yeah, that's what I'm starting to think.
Doom 3 is already €30 new.
RR Unbounded is also in the sub €20 region in some places.
Lollipop Chainsaw is the only other one, and I will probably be seeing it soon on the bargain shelves, next to Binary Domain and Vanquish!

    Thanks for the input!
Now to buy some Parodius Snes games instead!

Ridge Racer Unbounded is a pretty good game.
Doom 3 is a pretty great game, better then the more "modern warfighter" tripe that is out there, anyone see the shout out it got on the recent Zero Punctuation? Yahtzee is on the same FPS wavelength as I am, how proud he must be!

Ah now! Was an impulse buy and only other cod game I bought was modern warfare 2. Usually get a month or so of pick up and play fun then get bored of it.

Also quick question that Some if you may know, my mother wants to get windows 8 but I don't. Is there any way to have both windows 7 and 8 on a laptop?

Well back from looking at that Shadow pinball machine. Not too sure if I'll be getting it yet

I'm sorry, I was only joking, forgive me, please?

And if COD games have passed you by, play the excellent COD2, it's double plus good!

The last Call of Duty game I played was based in WW2.

Medal of Honour Frontline on Gamecube was the last good war shooter. Rising Sun was okay.

Sorry, just drop off your A&R membership card as you leave and any belongings will, be sent on...
Frontline is poor at best and Rising Sun is worse!
COD trotted past the MOH series a long time ago and EA have never caught up.
The likes of The Big Red One is far better than either MOH game mentioned.

Unless you are being sarcastic and forgot the [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] function! ;)
