It never said anything about running a business, it just said you cant buy property, You may still inherit a business and have to run it or something.

It's impressive looking, but it's not exactly looking bigger than RDR, IV and SA combined (I'm aware they included interiors in that statement, but even then, unless almost everything is accessible...).

I'm not bothered about buying places, I'll be happy once we can unlock some decent pads through the story. Buying property always felt like a lame way of spending the massive amounts of cash you earn.

I'm hoping that you really have to work for your money in V and when you get a payout from a well planned heist you feel like you earned it.

    I also hope that:

    1. We don't have to 'blow the dam'.

    2. Michael's family aren't taken from him by the bad guys, and he falls in love with them again as a result of this.

(Just two cliché's I could do without).

Could be more city behind the left mountain. Looking at the other screens, especially the free falling one the city looks frickin' huge!

I doubt that screenshot shows the map in its entirety

You're forgetting the sky and underwater, and that is just a picture of the city, there's mountain and countryside areas as well

So do I, but I reckon it shows the city in it's entirety (well, I'd say 80% anyway). I'm sure there's more to each side (and behind the camera) but I'd say it's more dead land.

In the trailer we see a jeep going up a dust hill with those windmill thingies everywhere. Looking at the above screen, I'd say those are just behind the mountain on the right..?

I'd say there's a lot more to the city than that. I can't see the hill with the "Vinewood" sign and antenna for example.

But thats just the city part of it. There's still the wine yards, the trailer park areas, the farms that were seen in the light picture things.

That post on the gta site is interesting. Remember not so long ago someone said on a different site that he was a temp/apprentice in r* and didnt sign a confidentiality agreement etc etc? Anyone remember what that said and if it was true?

Exactly, oh and looking at the helicopter screen, the countryside looks pretty darn huge!

It probably shows the centre entirely, but there's probably a huge span of suburbs like little haiti and little havana etc etc in vice city.

I think underwater was time wasted on R*'s part. Who's gonna explore the undersea unless they absolutely have to?

It'd be a novelty for five minutes. I'd say there's a submarine in there somewhere that you can spin about in to make things a little more interesting, but even then I don't think many GTA fans ever really expressed an interest in it.

You had to collect clams or something in SA, didn't you? As far as I recall, people didn't really like it?

Also, someone who's somewhere along the way either involved in the game or with magazines (just read it on GTAForums but didn't pass much in the way or remarks) reckons the mountains (mount Chilliad?) will be snow-capped (which I also think, as the Max Payne GTA Vehicle list, that seems to have since been forgotten about, had snow vehicles and that list looked very convincing).

This is on a side note, would it be better to pre-order online or in store?

Just looking at the pics again and on the shot that shows the chopper flying past the Vinewood sign you can just about make out a circular structure/compound through the blades. Any ideas??

Me!!!!! On any free roam game that allows you to swim I spend ages searching the oceans in-case i miss something. I can see myself spending a lot of time in the water!!

Some websites are known for sending out their parcels a bit early to ensure people get the game on release day. If you live in a postal hub area then there is a chance you might get it early.

Mind you, I'd put my house on it that most game retailers will be having a midnight launch for this. I remember when IV launched. I bought it in Tesco at midnight and played it until 6am. Slept for a few hours and played it for the rest of the day. Those were simpler times now, I wont be able to do that again unfortunatly.

is it okay to post the GI screenshots here? (not scans, but the actual screens)? or is posting them here asking for a Stone Cold Stunner?

    prison????

Don't see any high walls? I think those are either tree or lights surrounding it.
