Bill shooting his mouth off as usual! How does this guy have so many viewers!
“The white establishment is now the minority,” said O’Reilly. “The voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff.”
He goes on to say that Hispanics and blacks will vote overwhelmingly for Obama, and that women are more likely to vote for the president, as well.
“People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them those things?” he asks.

yeah I saw that.... Bill O' Reilly came in last night looking as if someone had shat on his dinner.

"People feel they are entitled to stuff, that's why the voted for Obama".

I couldn't tell you whether it's a type of dramaqueen stunt, just to get attention, or whether he just felt that way, but I don't think he came off looking very well. He came across as bitter and cold, not his usual self.

Besides, minorities etc. are just as bad off under Obama as anyone else, everything is the same. The president has no real power.

He's right but probably shouldn't say it out loud.

I don't see the problem referring to white people. I presume your insinuating that he's being racist. I don't like Bill O Reilly but he's right in a lot of ways that a lot of ordinary American white people people do feel isolated.

Whether or not someone agrees with O'Reilly's politics I can't see how one can argue much with this particular statement.

lmao.. since when has the 'white establishment' been the majority? You'd swear that rich, middle-aged white men have made up the majority of the population until a few years ago by the way he goes on. Nothing at all to do with the 'white establishment' stepping on the rights of others for centuries like.

    True.

The guy is a museum piece - his generation has had their moment in the sun. And they screwed it up. Lets let gay black women on welfare run things - it cannot produce a worse result than his ilk did.

BTW with a name like O'Reilly I doubt he'd get into the inner circle in certain golf clubs in the Hamptons (sniff sniff)...

    We won. Forward.

Imagine that. People voting for the politician that makes the most promises. Lucky that could never happen here ;)

The balance of power has shifted in America and the Republican demographic base appears to be its same old antiquated self. The Democrats have successfully appealed to a wider and more diverse voter base. This result proves that the last election was no fluke.

The Republicans have a serious crisis ahead and if the Tea Party drags them increasingly to the right. Then I think it will deliver a serious blow to their future hopes and could lead to an internal civil war.

“The white small establishment is now the political minority,” said O’Reilly. “The voters large corporations, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them want to stack the economic system and they want stuff tax breaks.”

He goes on to say that Hispanics and blacks bankers and industrialists will vote overwhelmingly for Obama Romney, and that women the ultra wealthy are more likely to vote for the president Romney, as well.
People Wealthy capitalists feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them those things?” he asks.

    Fixed his post.

Last night really cemented the fact that dinosaurs like O'Reilly are finally becoming extinct.

He looks like a dream to work with from that video clip of Mikoms. Slightly dimmer than Homer and a bit grumpier than Neil Tobin.

    Fixed his post.

Yeah it's not like Obama or the Democrats believe in corporate welfare or anything.

So rich white men will finally know what it feels like to be a hard done by Black, Hispanic or female in the USA? Tragic for them.

Whether or not someone agrees with O'Reilly's politics I can't see how one can argue much with this particular statement.

    You can't? Watch me!

He clearly distinguishes between what he sees as the existing white American establishment who, he reckons, are only wealthy by virtue of their industry, enterprise and sacrifice and the "new" majority of under educated, pidgin-English speaking brown and black-skinned immigrants from Asian and Hispanic American countries who only flood into America to leech off the hard working "Establishment whites".

It's not America's opportunities but its generous welfare payments that are attracting all these wetbacks, he argues. They identify with Obama as the man who will give them their free meal tickets without demanding that they work for them in exchange.

This is utter bollox. Immigrants don't leave home in pursuit of welfare payments, they leave in pursuit of opportunity. They don't want the dole, they want jobs. For all those xenophobic loo laas in America who appropriate labels from American history to give their prejudices a gravitas they hardly deserve (Minute Men, Tea Party etc) there is a very simple tried and trusted guaranteed way to reduce illegal immigration:

Just trash your economy. That's it! Simples!

We had insignificant immigration here during the 80s when the country almost went bust. Nor are we overburdened with new immigrants at the moment. Not like the 90s when they came across in torrents. Reason: they wanted our jobs; not our rent supplements.

You think Haiti has a problem with illegal immigrants?

O'Reilly is so lacking in any knowledge of history or any intelligence that he can't see that the xenophobia he exhibits towards the indolent, feckless Latino immigrants of today is pretty similar to that which faced his forebears from Cavan who made it over to America in the 19th century.

The man's a disgrace to our gene pool

So recent immigrants are a majority now?

Jesus talk about hysteria. "Entitlements" include "free" healthcare etc., and they're things that Obama supporters and Democrats are more in favour of than Republicans.

I also love the narrative that only rich people vote for Republicans, America ain't doing too bad if it has that many rich folk.

Not true at all Snickers Man, O' Reilly has a huge knowledge of history and is very intelligent by any account. Try and stick with the truth, not deviate into a fantasy land you're just making up as you go along.

Some of the rest of what you say above could be argued in a rational and cogent manner, but you're just throwing them out like as if they were obvious even though they certainly are not.

    1/10. Must try harder.

Watching Fox News is so entertaining, Bill is the King on Fox News. I watched a lot of it in the lead up to the Election and it was so entertaining watching these numpties try and dismantle Obama.

Each show was like watching Anchorman without the intentional laughs.

Bless the people that work for Fox they can stick to an agenda no matter how stupid it must sound in their own heads.

Shut up. It's a good channel and they believe in what they're doing. You may not agree with it, that's no reason to call them stupid.

So many joke young liberals around nowadays, they don't know anything.

    I won't shut up.:)

They are stupid if they believe in what they spew. Their willingness to report out of context, blatantly I add, is a clear indication that they are following an agenda set out by their employer.

But they don't try and hide that though. It's a Republican news channel. Just because you don't agree with their politics doesn't mean they're stupid. The liberal media lie and report out of context also.

Yeah but there's far more of that so it doesn't seem as biased.

But, but, but they are not as entertaining as Fox News.
    :)

I actually love watching it, I just find it hilarious to view and listen to their views. The fact I don't agree with "most" of it just adds to my sense of well being and often disgust.

As an aside, my first post and I am told to "shut up". Brilliant, reading this forum for yonks and thought I'd contribute only to be told to "Shut up" on my first post. I feel a sense of hurt mixed with pride. :)
