Do you reckon there'll be people with 'boomboxes' on their shoulders/sitting on street corners? (ie; when you're driving around, to add a bit of atmosphere to the run down areas, you'll be able to hear bassy music echoing throughout the streets during the day and a group of people hanging around playing checkers or god knows what on the sidewalks).

With this trailer next week, we may well know some of the main characters. I hope not, but i dont think there will be many characters from GTA SA.
One or two maybe, but the GTA series isnt known too well for its callbacks to previous games

I really hope San Andreas gets released on PSN soon so I can have a good play through of that before V comes out. I know they've gone out for an age rating for it but that happened with GTA 3 a year before it was eventually up on PSN.

Well, they wont show returning characters in a trailer.

Also, they are sort of known to expand their worlds by having returning characters. Donald Love in Vice City. Phill Cassidy. Ken Rosenberg in from Vice City to SA. Kent Paul from Vice to SA.

I loved seeing Rosenberg in SA. Being more bald, less stylish. It made the world feel more real. It was fantastic to some real progression. Someone aging in the GTA world.

IV characters didn't really excite me. I didn't care for them. I liked Luis Lopez, Gay Tony and Yusuf Amir. These characters seemed more GTA to me than say.. Elizibeta. They were too normal. Too boring for a computer game. Maybe Elizibeta would go down well in a fleshed out series of The Wire but not so much in a computer game. It's not like I didn't like the characters or hate them, they just didn't do much for me.

Ah yeah, how did i forget about Ken Rosenberg!?

Course you also had Claude from GTA III in SA. And you could get his outfit in GTA IV. Come to think about it there's a lot of references to older characters....i take it back

I'd like to see the McReary brother make an appearance... if the casting leaks that happened early on are anything to go by then that's a real possibility too.

Something along the lines of Packie and his mom had to leave LC after all the events of IV.... though the only problem would be that they'd have to choose a canonical ending to IV and I think that'd piss off a lot of fans.

I know this is jumping the gun here a bit but I assume we will see a new version of Vice City for GTA6 which would be next gen.

I know they have yet to revisit London which doesn't really appeal to me.

There's no pattern. They'll just do whatever the feel is right at the time.

I'd like to see London and maybe another city from Europe...maybe Amsterdam. Doing drug smuggling missions across the sea etc.

Also, London as I'd love to see more European cars and generally cars that are common here.

I suppose so. It is just that I like the whole Americanism of the series. Although, if anybody can do another London game justice it would be Rockstar.

But isn't exciting that they may do a Vice City on next Gen?

Oh yes! It would have to be in the 80's though.

Pissing down the road in a Cheetah listening to Depeche Mode or something. I'd love to see the swamp areas being used to. Also possible using more water for smuggling drugs in on boats like the Scarface game

I'd love to see a plot not unlike Layer Cake, only set in the 80s. You could be a big-time dealer in Europe looking to form a relationship with similiar men overseas for one last big payoff before leaving the business forever. One guy you start to work with is Tommy Vercetti. Throw in a few references to the old GTA London, and bobs your uncle

The big problem with European cities is they're more geared towards public transport. You'll barely see a car in the middle of Amsterdam.

They could make up some European city though.
