Oh no, I hate the frickin snow. I can't live with 2 months of having no water in my crappy house that seizes up every time the water pressure drops (which it does as soon as a freeze comes and everyone runs the taps to stop their badly insulated pipes from freezing). A ten degree plus winter all the way is all I hope for.

I live in the snowiest city of Canada. People in Ireland should shut up and buy a few plows :pac:

Right now I'm in a city that's at least as far north as Moose Jaw, Yukon and it's pissing rain.

What the fcuk is a plow? And whatever it is, why would Irish people want to buy one?:):)

It won’t be surprising to see minimum temperatures fall to -10°C to -12°C and there will be disruption.

    No sh1t.

Hahaha! Time for people in outer Dundrum to start panic buying supplies in case they get "stranded" for up to two hours!

Used to love a bit of snow and frost and all things cold when I was a student. -15? Bring it on I'd say.

Now that I have to drive everyday into work all of that **** can **** right off.

There's a 24 hour supermarket in inner Dundrum just asking to be pillaged.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Probably be fun for a day or two but unless your well provisioned the novelty would wear off fast.

We will get no snow as usual. Small bit of frost and drizzle tops

These long range forecasts are a load of poxology if you ask me.

+1. Anything beyond 3 days, maybe up to 5 days, is poxology. I don't know why supposedly reputable organisations persist in issuing long-range forecasts.

I've been meaning for years to buy snow tyres for my bike. I love cycling in the snow. I might just do it this year.

During the 1947 snow event, my granny said that coffins couldn't be buried because of the frozen earth, so were stored in the local church. After a while, they'd start leaking... :(

Whole country was one giant freezer and they left em inside to melt ?
