Much better performance today, for the first time in weeks the team looked hungry and confident going forward.
We wer'nt bothered too much at the back, but both Perry and Cribari done well when called upon - Perry put in a fantastic last ditch tackle in the first half - hopefully that will give everyone a bit of confidence.

    Do you agree Dempsey?
I do assume you're watching the game given that you know so much regarding the performance.

Im watching another game. It doesnt take away from my point that ye were playing far better opposition during the week, part timers compared to full time professionals as opposition. Oh wait I suppose that because Im not watching you play today makes that fact irrelevant??! LOL! Ye are a sensitive bunch!

Big canon on the pitch at Ibrox. Cringeworthy doesnt even begin to describe it.

    Back to football?

Lots of possesion for Rangers but very little in the way of chances, Peterhead missed an absolute sitter in the first 5 minutes.

Shiels seems to be growing in confidence game by game, his kind of player is always going to be inconsistent but at this level he should be able to turn it on more often than not.

    1-0 McCulloch nice header :D

1-0 McCulloch header from a corner.

Little misses a golden chance seconds later.
    Better stuff now.

If we can keep hold of McKay and McLeod and they improve with experience as we come up through the divisions they will be fantastic players for us.

That is a certainty have been really impressed with McLeod today some of his tackles have been sublime and his reading of the game has been great. Feel a bit sorry for McKay he is wasted out wide though all credit to him he isn't hiding

2-0 Wallace well taken goal after a cutback from a free kick when he was hacked down just outside the box

True but overall all I was pleased with the youngsters tosay they are slowly finding their feet. Also I think Little and Sheils could make a very good partnership up top

Out of interest, how come Peterhead weren't wearing a poppy on their shirts today (unless they were and I missed it)?

Not trying to start any argument here or anything - just surprised as I thought everyone had to wear one?

I don't think that's a rule - i'm not even sure it was one for the SFL - it was the SPL teams who were required to wear them.
I think that's also changed now.

Peterhead did have one on their jersey though.

I wonder if there will be a backlash of mock outrage from Bill Leckie et al toward Peterhead :P

From before the game today. Making a less than subtle point, but very well done.

Yeah credit where it's due that's a nice display, pathetic motive but objectively a good tifo. What about the stand the pic was taken from though?

Not even going to go there. The display was taken from the either the main stand or the club deck think its the club deck. On a second look its the main stand
