How did that guy get away with stabbing him through the hand? They seemed to brush that off way too easily
Thought that too... Seemed he was being a bit soft for a while, and I was thinking "don't they usually waterboard terrorists?" and then all of a sudden he stabs him, and I was thinking "eh I don't think they usually go that far..."

Hard to get that balance right!

How the **** did he explain it to his wife is what I wanna know? Bar fight? She's a tad stupid, but she's not THAT stupid..

His excuse was he'd been on a bender, so he is reckoning she's that stupid. Anyway their relationship is at a point where he can just refuse to take off the bandage if he feels like it, and what can she really do about it?

hes a terrorist, whats he gonna do, go to the VP and say the CIA arrested him for being a terrorist, go crying to nazir saying the CIA were bold and stabbed him,

why wouldn't she believe him, she threw him out and couldn't get in touch for over a day, shes hardly gonna think he was off ****ing another woman and happened to get his hand cut, it wouldn't be unlike brody to go to a bar and get pissed and end up in a fight, and why would it matter if jess seen the cut, shes not a ****ing doctor what the hell would she know about the difference of knife cut or beer bottle cut, and he can just say some guy came at him with a knife,

His hand was wrapped up tight (it almost looked like a cast). It's not like he held it up to his eye, looked through the hole and said to her "Hey, check this out!" :o

I'm sure she'd clean & rebandage it for him, see the wound and say its a bit clean & excessive for a bottle cut

just cause your in a bar fight doesn't mean you get attacked with a bottle,

I re-watched that part last night and when Brody demands a lawyer, Peter says "Life is full of dissappointments" Brody then says "I'm way off the grid here, amn't I?" meaning he was well outside the normal justice system and no rules applied.

Great episode, its all going so fast - they could of made the interrogation last another episode but its over and the story is even more exciting now.

Great show, i cant wait until the next ep.

in absolutely no particular order, the 3 best shows currently in production are Homeland, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, with suits in 4th place:cool:

Hmmm, Suits, you say. Never heard of it, tell us more. If it's in the same class as the other three, it's worth a look.
And I would still rather watch an ep of Homeland than Breaking Bad, good as it is. Homeland is tense, it has depth, tremendous central performances from Carrie and Brody, twists, an exploration of a tormented, contradictory character in Brody. It's addictive in a way that BB is not.

Suits is good, but it's fluff compared to the other 3. Worth watching to fill the void between episodes of real shows like Breaking Bad! :D

Boardwalk Empire is pretty good lately, but they are relying a bit on somebody getting murdered in the last 5 minutes of every episode for dramatic effect

Eh while the interrogation scene was well done, i think its pretty preposterous that she broke him in a few hours. It took Nazir 5 years ffs.

and one thing I cant get past, the VP's kid. He had 2 secret service agents with him. 2?
This is the VP's kid, arguably the 2nd most powerful man in the worlds only child. Celebrities have more bodyguards for their kids. I just find that completely out of touch, there'd be at least 2 cars, one in front, one behind.
its obviously going to become a major plot point(the hit and run), I cant just brush it off

Its got a solid basis in reality - GW Bushes two brats were a nightmare during his first term. Giving the bodyguards the slip, underage drinking etc. - and that's just what made the papers.

He was already broken by Nazir though. And you could tell from the narrative that he was conflicted. Carrie had leverage over disgracing his family. He was isolated when in captivity...

Hmmm. how to get a Fatwa on your head

Muslim terrorist warlord sleeps with decorated US Marine.

I wonder which side would get the producers first.

Another quality episode, wasn't expecting the shootout, and I guess this puts paid to the 'Galvez the mole' theories :)

I don't think she ever un-fell for him - I'm interested to see if she'll be compromised by an affair with him.........excellent ep tonight

Monday is my spoil-myself night - my biggest decision is which to watch first..........The Walking Dead or Homeland!!

Me too... always try to watch Homeland and Dexter in one night. Sometimes I end up being awake till 2am getting through them both.

What a quality episode tonight. Was not expecting the shoot out in the tailors. I sort of did a double take thinking to myself "wow the swat team got there very quickly... wait is that blue on blue? No... OHH WOW"

By far the best series this quarter.

Hard to tell really... tom walker's rifle, C4, equipment for suicide vest, dirty bomb. Whatever it is, it will be important.

Definitely a bomb sure that's what the tailor specialised in.
Could be setting us up for the season finale.
One thing I do hope is that if it is a bomb and it plays a part in the plot towards the end of the season, that they actually follow through with it and let it go off. One thing Homeland has been great at is letting you be sure that something is going to happen, and then they go and do the complete opposite. They've already chickened out of blowing up the VP. I just hope it doesn't turn into a "day is saved at the last minute" show.
