I blame the goons who don't like being scared, thus making stations avoid showing anything remotely scary, and allowing pap like Paranormal Activity and Saw to become box-office successes.

Few here. Obvious from looking outside that parents are mostly bringing kids to the houses of other parents they know rather than letting them go out alone though.
