Not sure why Sky Sports thought I was leaving early today-never left a game early & majority of gooners don't give up. Today showed why.

walcott got a hatrick tonight, no goal for jenkinson

Is that official? In the post match interview Walcott said he'd be giving the match ball back as the goal was Jenk's. Also, the ref appeared to be about to give a penalty for a handball on the line before Jenk fired in the rebound.

Arsenal.com are also going with Jenkinson:

    No, not official

walcott took the ball at the end though & on the sky website they gave it to him so that's why said that, but i seen that the arsenal site gave it to jenkinson.

I just watched the interview there with them, american streams never seem to show interviews after, the interviewer said the officials never gave it either

The ref was hardly just going to blow for a goal, was he?

I think it'll be decided on whatever the ref says - like it's not really one for the dubious goals panel, they either say walcott scored the first time or not

anyway who cares 4-0 down, win 7-5 :D

Lads whos the goalkeeping coach at Arsenal? We seem to have very very poor goalkeepers in our squad, Chesney, Fab & Mannone are nowhere near good enough to be keepers for Arsenal I cant believe we didnt go for Lloris :-(

Looks a great prospect. Gave us something extra at the end when we badly needed it.

    Much better player than ramsey.

Can't agree I think Ramsey is cruelly underrated on this thread

    All aboard the hyperbole train.

    Choo Choo.

Agree with above. He has had a good ~60 minutes playing for us, but Ramsey has had a lot of very good performances too and to say that Eisfeld is better than him is just a shortsighted notion.

I can't believe people still believe in ramsey,he seriously is a poor player now, wengers persistance with him is baffling.

Wenger's persistence with playing him on the right wing is baffling.

He is doing a very good job there not offering loads in attack mind, but working very hard and doing a good job keeping possession when thing get tight

Not an ideal RW now and wouldn't have him there with everyone fit but I think has done a good job, look over the games he played there not many attacks coming down our right side, I no a load of people will say the other teams are targeting santos but I think a lot have to do with Ramseys work rate too

Don't think he is our best player or anything like that but as I said above I think he is cruelly underrated on this thread

I've no issue with Ramsey really. He always gives 100% and even when he's having a stinker he never hides from play.

He's not a wide attacker so he's never going to play his best ball out there, however he's not going to get a chance centrally as long as 3 of Arteta, Diaby, Jack and Santi are fit. He needs to start making the most of the opportunities he gets to play centrally and him not being involved last night would make me think he's in line to start on the right against United.

He's a solid player to have in the squad if any of our main central midfield three are injured. He has no business being out on the wing at all. I think he'll get better and better though, he's still pretty young.

I honestly think ramsey makes a lot of misplaced passes that leads to the opposing team putting our defence under pressure.he always tries the cesc pass but he hasn't got the vision or know how to pull it off.

And he seems to be lazy sometimes, depending on his mood he will track back or not.I can't remember the game last season but he just jogged back after loosing the ball,no effort to stop the attack or help the defence, and it lead to a goal.

I just don't think he will make it here, shame really because he looked a real player before his injury.

Ramsey has a similar pass % as Cazorla, people seem to turn a blind eye when Santi loses the ball because they like him, and always remember when Ramsey loses it. Hes not as bad as people make out but shouldn't be near RW, and hopefully won't be with Walcott/Ox back.

Ye but santi probably has no way near as much misplaced pass % as ramsey which is a vital thing.

Ha? If their pass completion % is the same then so is their misplaced pass percentage.

It's probably more to do with the fact that in general Ramsey's passes are of the safer variety wheras Santi's are more attack minded

This reminds me of when people would argue that Denilson's pass % was better than Fabregas'.

That's the thing with statistics. They don't tell the whole story.
