My dad use to just park across the road but I've no idea if that's possible now. You'd be free to go to the park and wait?

You can park in the drop off zone inside the station. What direction you coming from?

There's a car park in Heuston down the very end.

    Coming from the M50 direction.

Come down Johns road, and as you go to cross over to the Quays, turn left up towards the car park at the back (as Stheno points out) and the drop off zone is inside the station itself. I think it's beside platform 10? Could be wrong though.

Don't think so man. I think bank holidays are treated as weekends when it comes to parking.

So I take a left down the road that runs along the river? Cool. Cheers!

That's exactly it. Keep Heuston to your left all the time basically.

As in from a parking meter?
I thought they were just tickets, this threw me.

Started doing my alloys on the car... I'm in danger of liking the matte black finish too much and not doing the gun metal grey at all...

    Decisions decisions....

Personally, I prefer the matte black as well Dar.

Having said that, the gunmetal would be a much rarer sight on the roads.

I'm trying to find the thread about BMW535D (the one where he gets publicly ridiculed) - does anyone know what it's called?

Searched his user name but couldn't find anything.

EDIT: Found it :D quoting cause it's an awesome read

They still have parking discs in Cork, it's a royal pain in the ass.

Gah went out for a 10 minute break there to the car and was taking a ballygowan 750ml water bottle from behind the passanger seat and the attachment at the top clipped the back of the armrest.

The leather finish is now peeling up at the edge, it's tiny but i know it's there, grrrr such a small annoying thing.

Will have to try glueing it down or something when i get home, first world problem but soooooo annoying :(

Very valid q man! Yeah afaik I did, I've checked and rechecked! It's at lower revs and does go away the odd time. Sounds like its coming from the alternator area at the rear left of the engine.

A good few sites (this one included) block a number of countries out right as the level of spamming and hacking attempts from them just isn't worth the effort.
