Chap I know lost his business and went mad on the drink, ended up in John Of Gods. Anyhow he tells this story of while he was in there, there was a chap on day release who had a couple of hours off each day. He got in to his car and it wouldn't start. He spent an hour at it and gave up. Later that evening they were standing in line for their tablets and one of the lads asked him did he get something he had planned on buying that afternoon.
No, he says, the car wouldn't start.

I give out about the cost Stheno, but on that morning Each smile and hug is priceless. There are several reasons it costs ME so much at christmas, none of which is appropriate for this forum, and none of which reflect well on the fairer sex

Can't see any reason in his posts. He was involved in a slightly heated thread where some biker went a bit road-ragey with a 'cager' (that's what immature bikers call a car driver). It is possible that either he got banned for a post that has since been deleted, or possibly for abuse via PM. I'd imagine so. Years ago, a cousin if mine had a sleeper Golf. Couple of young lads tried racing him in their Impreza. It didn't end well for the Impreza.0 -

I didn't know that cars could use the bus lane along the quays. Snap, but not in the pug, in the blue van. Admittedly was a Glanza S but was very funny when they realised it was a hopeless case and angrilly pulled in behind me 0 -
