If your 159 is anything like every other Alfa it probably needs a new front badge which together with a really good clean and some decent number plates can change the front of the car. Happened on my 156. Unreal difference with just €20 on a badge.

I'd paint the callipers red too they always look good especially on an Alfa.

I need new badges front and rear, the car would look so much better if it had them.

Must get a boost gauge and turn that turbo down! :pac:

Anyone here know what engines use a Garrett T25?

I got the front one for €30 fitted, some new number plates @20 quid each and many a hour of hard elbow grease with a multitude of polishes and waxes and the front of the car is completely different.

    Best investment of €50 ever.

Cheers! It's very difficult to find out what thy were fitted to. So I'm looking for the Sweedish stuff so... :)

Reason being is my turbo sounds a bit iffy and have seen a few 306's running with T25 hybrids

    AA cover?

    :D

Chap I know lost his business and went mad on the drink, ended up in John Of Gods. Anyhow he tells this story of while he was in there, there was a chap on day release who had a couple of hours off each day. He got in to his car and it wouldn't start. He spent an hour at it and gave up. Later that evening they were standing in line for their tablets and one of the lads asked him did he get something he had planned on buying that afternoon.

No, he says, the car wouldn't start.
Are you not in the AA, the other dude asks.
No, he replies, sure I'm here for drugs.

Makes me ill how much the OH spends on his kids at christmas :(

I'm getting my alfa resprayed, rust ****e taken out and a few scratches sorted for less than 500

1k should see the same guy respray your car?

I give out about the cost Stheno, but on that morning Each smile and hug is priceless. There are several reasons it costs ME so much at christmas, none of which is appropriate for this forum, and none of which reflect well on the fairer sex ;)

Let me know how the paintjob goes and wheather you are happy with it please.

Strangely enough, my badges are in good shape, I have no patience with polishing, one panel will be perfect and the rest will be "sur fook it, it'll do":D

Thanks GarITR, might stretch to that allright:p

I've been to sachsenhausen and I'm going to krakow in January for 5days. I'll most certainly be going to Auschwitz. It'll do good to see how harsh things were there in winter.

I had a manky old Avensis try and "race" me earlier. I don't know how to feel right now. :o

It's more to do with the fact that he wanted to race me, as if he had a decent chance or something.

Can't see any reason in his posts. He was involved in a slightly heated thread where some biker went a bit road-ragey with a 'cager' (that's what immature bikers call a car driver). It is possible that either he got banned for a post that has since been deleted, or possibly for abuse via PM. Purely speculation on my part though...

Otoh, he could have requested that he be banned for a month for personal reasons.

RJ, if you're reading this - we miss you already, you cranky baxtard! :)

I'd imagine so. Years ago, a cousin if mine had a sleeper Golf. Couple of young lads tried racing him in their Impreza. It didn't end well for the Impreza.

I didn't know that cars could use the bus lane along the quays. I didn't know that it also gives the driver automatic rights to bully their way in either  didn't work on me, I hope I woke them up with the horn

Snap, but not in the pug, in the blue van. Admittedly was a Glanza S but was very funny when they realised it was a hopeless case and angrilly pulled in behind me :D

And what's worse is, it was a non spoiler edition Impreza, so you know what you've ahead of you.....lad!!!

This was yers before he whole felt apec scene. His car was a sleeper VR6, de- badged etc. and it was probably only a 1.6 or 2.0 non turbo Impreza.
