There's a guy posting on another forum who's daughter goes to school with the missing lass. He's in the medical services so standing by to help if needed. He's just posted to say there are a lot of empty huts, and buildings in the area still to be searched and that they are remaining positive.

Suppose if the wánker isn't giving them anything they are probably afraid to let the public out and about in case they destroy evidence? They'll need to preserve wherever she is found very well for evidence.

Hopefully she will be found alive and well but sadly every min that passes the more unlikely it seems.

It's around 24 hours since they arrested him. What's the procedure now for keeping him in custody?

Has he been actually arrested or are they just holding him for questioning?

holding him on suspicion of abduction. That's the same as arrested.

Next stage would be charged or released, isn't it?

The suspects son is being interviewed on Sky now.

The guy is nineteen, and claims that he only met his dad around a year ago. He has been living with his mother.

He has only met his dad a few times, "down the local pub".

An article in the mirror this morning quoted a neighbour as saying 'she got into the car with them'

Jesus my heart is in my mouth all day. The poor little mite. How long can they keep this ŵanker before charging/releasing him. Even the look of him now makes me feel sick

Them is often used as a non gender specific pronoun.

They passed a law a couple of years ago allowing them to detain a "terror suspect" for 3 months didn't they? how come the same can't be applied in this case?

That interview with his son was embarrassing.
You could see the poor lad was uncomfortable with the questions about a man he hardly knows.

They will more than likely charge him with abduction, considering they have published his name, pic and the pic of his car.

They are probably waiting to compile a full list of charges or something depending on what other evidence comes up.

Hope people separate the abductors family from his crime. They are victims also.

Also when this suspect was arrested he was dressed in camoflage from head to toe, wet gear underneath.. As a keen camper he was used to the outdoors and knew the outskirts of this village like the back of his hand. The location of his arrest was beside the river they are now searching. He had no reason to be there

Make of that what you will but they are telling you in a r/about way what has happened

And sadly its looking like it wont end well

He was arrested in Army gear more or less, he could have a hidden bunker in the woods.

Are they searching the river because he told them something?

    Just said he Ex-Army

On twitter: ''Mark Bridger's son Scott Williams tells Sky News he was shocked by news of his father's arrest.''

FFS. She asked him was he shocked by the arrest, and he said yes.

Confirming the clothes he was wearing. He also had on sunglasses. Its Wales in October. Why sunglasses ?

Another article states the police have found fresh tyre marks along the river where no vehicle should be. Pretty sure only a Land Rover type vehicle could achieve

    Its obvious whats happened

He wont open his mouth with the hope she is never found.

Words cant describe how evil this man is

Maybe he was keeping her somewhere and was going for supplies when he was caught. She could be still out there.

I don't know, it's just such a horrible situation, it's very hard for someone in a proper state of mind to say what the guy has done..

Ah the court of public opinion! Innocent until *proven* guilty, Detective Columbo.

Pretty much everyone thinks he is guilty.
