    Well won't celebrate until they send the 4-digit code, could be someone with the same name. Also I unliked Rage a while ago. No point in having them liked because I can't comment and well I can get what they sell in NTSC and cheaper.

    I'm on a major changeover of my consoles to NTSC wherever possible. The Megadrive though, is one console I won't bother changing. The region & 60Hz mod make it essentially an NTSC console...unlike say the Snes which retains some incompatibilities.

    The two mods & some new pads would be my advice, the only time I'd buy another MD is to get a HD Audio non TMSS one...the rest I could take or leave & that includes NTSC machines. There's really no point.

    Regards the caps on them, to my knowledge I've never heard of a MD needing them changed {yet}

    The Megadrive and Snes must have the best caps ever put into any console ever. I've yet to come across one which needs them changed either.

    Well done on the win Retr0 - now do yourself a favour and give Alien Soldier a proper bash on real hardware! :D

    As for controllers, the best ones are three button batman pads with red start buttons and dome D pads. The D pads are silky.

    They're much nicer than those 6 button pads (which are nice and all, but just too small)
