Catastrophic engine failure isn't overly common on Suzuki cars to be fair.

in shopping carts like that that rarely see any sort of love let alone mechanical maintenance, Give me 15 minutes it'll be dead... from lazy driving alone ( which is why they All sqeek and moan from city driving, leak a fair amount of smoke, but keep going. )

Is it just the lighting or does the passenger side look to have different colour doors?

In picture 1 the left wing and doors look like they dont match, and in picture 2 the doors dont seem the same as the quarter panel.

Yeah, saw that. Wouldn't worry me, those doors take a bashing, there's no protective strips.

Interestingly(?) that's not a strata model, it's an aura model with dealer fit alloys and fogs. All the rage back in 03. You couldn't get enough 1.6 strata avensii back then.

Agreed, if everything else checked out with the car you can over look a bit of repair work done cheaply. Its a lot of car for the money.

Never paid the alloys much attention but i did notice the front fogs alright, on closer look at the alloys today they all seem to have kissed a few curbs!

Again that isnt anything major, most likely drove by someone who isnt the worlds greatest parker of cars. They are a very big car and the high body panels can restrict your view i always thought.

i dont doubt you'd get a discount on the e10, and you know it'd go forever if you treat it right. e12 1.6 might be getting fond of oil perhaps.

i can only dream either way :pac:
    That 02 corolla is 1.4

So it is! I saw the reg, misread it and assumed it was an original Irish car. Turns out its a UK spec T3. All the more reason to buy it.

i know the price isn't anything to write home about but its a very fresh looking car, and to be fair it would do that mileage again if you treat it right. fresh test, cheap tax, handy on fuel etc etc.

.... The price if the conversion would be quite crippling too on a yoke that old and cheap.

Even if that doubled the mpg you would be a long time savimg the cost of doing it presuming youd be doing small miles in it.

In my opinion that car is actually worthless bar scrap value. You would more than likey break even or make money out of scrapping it.

That engine would make a nice table after all ;-)

Bit like location, location, location for me.

Each to their own. Some people really do like em like pig sties, especially in Ireland. Might be a cultural thing or something. Nothing wrong with that, if that's their thing.

I like em tidy as possible. Its an extra condition for my own Bangernomics rules.
