    As a pro Palestinian campaigner, this is legitimate freedom of speech. Instead of trying to censor it, pro Palestinians should just fight fire with fire and do their own line of advertisements.

    As it's a "ad" I don't understand how it can be left up. If the poster said iPhones are civilised while Galaxy SIII are savages there'd be a huge law suit.

    Are you referring to the user who was banned? Yep, Boards certainly let him away with that.

    The US set itself up for a legal minefield with the interpretation of "Freedom of Speech". Take the Phelps family, for example. If it's people that are being put down, the legal system seems to usually let it slide, while if it's companies, they stamp down hard on it.

    The simplest rationale is that MTA is effectively a government organisation. Governments can't restrict speech subjectively. Not sure what the court said

    Wow! I'm stunned at this post, and the hypocrisy of the poster.
    Let's have a look at our nice friend FrontStorm's posts on boards.ie. Thus far, 18 Posts.

    One post is about a Sony something or other. (No complaints there)
    One is a bilious attack on the Socialist Party. (No probs there, you're entitled to your opinions).

    Then there's a post in the Aviation and Aircraft section (!) where you call people involved in the IPSC 'terrorist sympathizers (sic)'

    ALL of your other posts are you getting a stiffy about Israel and the IDF! Obsess much?

    By the way FrontStorm, I notice your handle is an inverted version StormFront , the well-known anti-immigrant website. Is there a link or is that just a coincidence? You know where I'm coming from here, racist poster accuses other posters of being racist and has a handle unbelievably similar to the name of a forum for racist knuckleheads?

    I've seen loads of anti-semite comments received infractions and bans.

    So as a potential customer I would expect to find these Products both Racism and Xenophobia at institutions representing israel. Embassy of israel (incld the one in Ballsbridge Dublin 4), israeli army recruiting centres, israeli supreme court and israeli parliament. fairnovski.

    Eltahawy says the ad promotes hatred and racism.

    Video of Ahmadinejad meeting prominent Iranian Jews and Israeli dignitaries and businessmen the other day.

    He doesn't really come across as the war-obsessed Jew-hating maniac that the western media is portraying him as. The video hasn't been shown by the likes of Fox news (or any others for that matter), funnily enough!

    It's quite disgusting that the likes of AIPAC and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy are allowed to fund vitriolic propaganda and lobby & put pressure on the US to take action against Iran while they themselves continue to blatantly ignore the UN on various fronts.

    What's your point Mr. Stormfront? The only thing I see is that the yankie-style PC brigade are happy to allow criticism/stereotyping of muslims/palestinians but if you mention jew/Israel in a sentence with negative connotations, then you are instantly tarred as an anti-semite. I say allow both or neither.

    You posted a link to one poster who was banned, apparently as definitive proof. Of all the users here. And of all the posts.
