So the civilised man is allowed to imprison and slaughter the innocent in the West Bank, hold countries to ransom in its quest to raid Iran which will more than likely kick off WW3 in the process.

It just shows you who is really pulling the strings behind the court system in America.

The New York transport authority said its “hands are tied” after a court ruled in favour of a conservative blogger who sued for the right to display a pro-Israel ad campaign calling Islamic radicals "savage". The signs go on display starting Monday.

I don't support most of the arab worlds policies or anything, but...I think that kind of language breeds more extremists. The more we push away the radicals, the more radicalized they become. We at least should know that with our experiences in the north. It's just a pity that so many don't recognize it.

I also find it incredibly...ironic I guess, to see Israel critize others for savagery!

Do you have proof of this? I thought free speech was protected under the bill of rights, therefore they have a right to have these posters. I don't necessarily agree with the message myself though....

Except the point of the poster is to garner support for Israel which will allow it to continue to act with impunity and continue to commit war crimes, crimes against peace and crimes against humanity without any sanction or justice for its victims.

By classifying their victims as savages it attempts to portray Israel's savage treatment of people who are mostly ordinary, decent, human beings as justifiable.

If I were a Palestinian 60 odd years ago, and hundreds and thousands of Europeans arrived off refugee boats and took everything over, kicking me , my family and a lot of Palestinians out of our homes, I'd be feckin more than savage that nothing was ever done about it, and that nothing would be done about it thanks to a military superpower backing the "lodgers" to the hilt.

The US set itself up for a legal minefield with the interpretation of "Freedom of Speech". Take the Phelps family, for example. If it's people that are being put down, the legal system seems to usually let it slide, while if it's companies, they stamp down hard on it.

The simplest rationale is that MTA is effectively a government organisation. Governments can't restrict speech subjectively. Not sure what the court said
