    Is black smoke cool?

Today I changed the grill from old worn black/grey to blue. Not sure I really like it though, may be better just sprayed black?? Tomorrow I do the bumper!

Don't mean to be insulting here, just my opinion.

I think I prefer the black grill! Adds some contrast.

I have to say though, you have the best colour on that MG, so good!

Not insulting at all, I'm inclined to agree with you! I thought it might look better with the blue, but having done it, I think I'll just give the old grill and bumper grill a fresh spray of black. Mad to get the paint sorted on it as it's a shame to have such a nice colour covered in scratches and stonechips

    +1 on the black grille.

Leave it the way it was and make it glossy :)

We started fitting the offroad suspension in the T4.

Unfortunatly time ran away and we didn't get it finished. So now I've ended up with this :)

10 cm difference front to back.

Ah well, the front will be lifted tomorrow.

    Nice MG that

Goes to show how talented the lads were in MGR given what they had to work with. Love those ZSs in blue (saloons)

No pics as I was doing this in a mates pit and didn;t want him to worry about me

Oil change: Castrol Magnatec 10w40...4 litre can is just enough to fill an MR2still can't go wrong for €22!

Exhaust: there was a blow and the connection seems to have crumbled probably after some spirited driving, some exhaust paste and a bandage and its good as new.

I got one of these for the oil filter and its the greatest tool ive used on a filter, no prick acting with straps.

Had a very productive day at the cars today myself,
No pictures as i'm rocking a 20 euro phone.

washed bmw e28, daily driver nissan primera and about to sell 00 fiesta.

Polished the wheels on the bmw. really hate this job, half regretting the mirror finish now.

Fixed the brake lights on the fiesta from staying on all the time (little switch by the brake pedal that you twist and lock back when in position,)

Fitted new exhaust on the fiesta, just the back box, not a bad job.

Basic service to the fiesta. has test on thursday.

Bodged a bad connection on the primeras dip headlight, the connector block is dodgy and can't find one in the local breakers so ty wraps used to keep a pull on it.

Fitted new shiny tape to the wing mirror of the primera after parking in town yesterday and finding it hanging by the electric mirror wire's. actual mirror part stuck back with silicone.

Cleaned the fiesta alloys with some cheap chemically wheel cleaner and they came out ok, wheels were manky with cv joint greece all over them,

Not a bad evening and better than what I would have done otherwise, sitting in front of the pc with corneto's.

Today I.... caught the front lip spoiler on the GTI off of a curb pulling into one of those stupid angled parking spaces :(

Know how you feel. Came to the car in the car park after work yesterday and from a mile off saw that someone/something had put two dents and lots of scratches on my drivers door. Can't for the life of me figure out what its from. Went to halfords today and got touch up paint to fill the scratches (nothing I can do about the dents) but it got me in foul mood so didn't do a thing to the car and did stuff to the house instead. Might clean it up and paint the scratches tomorrow.

2 dents and scratches means child playing or a dog jumping up on it tbh

    Sucks :(

A bit early, only took it 1 km home from the tyre centre.

In saying that, I tested the slicks in the rain under heavy breaking and contrary to popular opinion, it didn't skid... Insurance company and guards might have a different opinion though...
