Who had their fifteen minutes of fame and adulation and are now forgotten about?

The king for me is Leon Jackson. Also two others I'd mention are The Darkness and The Arctic Monkeys.

Any others?

The Arctic Monkeys have been going for 10 years, produced 4 albums, headlined Oxegen as recently as last year and played live at the Olympics opening ceremony in London this summer. They might have dropped off your radar after the huge success of their debut but they are far from forgotten!

Podge and Rodge. A huge amount of teenie boy and girl bands and their members such as S-Club 7 etc etc . Caroline Morahan, she went to the States because Ireland was too small for her, disappeared totally from Irish TV thank fcuk.

pretty sure he works in RTE, on the production team of Monday Night Soccer as they tried to embarass him one night by showing him as a kid on the other side of the cameras
