International break now, then Southampton. Their result against United today should give us a good idea of what to expect. I expect them to get hammered but you never know. Just hope nobody comes back injured from the break.

Bar strikers I think we had good options on the bench today I thought.

Where was Chamack today? Surely he cant be that bad to leave off the bench when we have no other striker?

We can stick Pod up front and bring on Gerv for the wing. We are better off than Liverpool at least :pac:

Yes I thought Wenger would give Giroud a rest in the last 10 and bring on Chamack. Wasn't aware he was not on the bench tbh.
Wait until Jack, Frimpong, Rosicky and Sagna come back :D

I've a feeling theo has been promised a role up front.

I think you may be right. Quite excited to see how he preforms there if true

Have to admit I was a bit worried when we brought no one in after Song left but we are pretty well stocked for midfielders. Whats the midfield when everyone is fit? Nice problem to have for once!!

    Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla.

    Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla.

Would you leave Diaby out if he continues playing like he has been? Think we could do with someone with his frame in here. Hard to leave out any of them three tho!

    Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla.

You'd drop Diaby after a performance like that ? Or are you just presuming that he'd be injured ?

    Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla.

Diaby if he plays consistently as he did today i cannot seeing him being dropped.

To be fair, Wilshere probably wont play until after Christmas. If Diaby is still going as well by then, it's up to Jack to get back into the team.

Could be Arteta, Diaby, Wilshere with Cazorla pushed out onto the wing.

We do have a lot of options when all fit, great problem to have.:)

If Diaby plays like that week in week out Wilshere goes to AM and Cazorla to RW imo

One thing that people might not have noticed was Girouds run for the first goal. He did a great job of pulling the defenders away to give podolski and Cazorla more space. Hope he gets a goal soon.

    Keep beating that drum

How did that work out for ya?

For clarity, seeing as you quoted me as deluded,I said a draw would be an upset.

I never suggested for a moment that Liverpool would win. That would have been deluded.

Aide from his performance doesn't Diaby come across as an absolute gentleman?

Don't remember hearing him do a post match interview before.Humble and classy.

I think my fantasy football curse is alive and well.

Week 1: Podolski and Koscielny. No goals, didnt play.
Week 2: Got rid of Koscielny due to being injured, leaving only Podolski. No goals.
Week 3: Got rid of Podolski, leaving no Arsenal players. Podolski scores and assists.

Shame it only seems to affect Arsenal, van Persie is my captain and seems to have to trouble scoring.

Of course he would, he did nothing but slate him in his last match for not meeting the ball, had nothing to say about him today, even though he was man of the match.

    Come on Southampton :D

Gibbs has served me well with the clean sheets. cheap as chips too. Giving Giroud one more game day before I drop him.

I'd give him more than that, not based on his ability, but our system doesn't suit him IMO, we aren't playing to his strengths, not many crosses et c.
Let's hope he has something else in his locker.
