I frankly hated the footbridge, though I wasn't a student at the time so Just saw it as a nuisance to try bring the dog over when bringing him for a walk! :L

ohh no , theyre funny to listen to in the pub and such, I just wish they wouldnt bring their nonsense into the college where impressionable minds might pick up bad habits, also im an advocate of free speech, I defend their right to say whatever they want, no matter how wrong they may be

Definitely would love a Subway; it would have made so much more sense to put one in Manor Mills instead of yet another Bagel Factory.

And as much as I disliked it, I do miss the footbridge :p

The weather.....even for Ireland Maynooth always seems to be dull and wet. Cinema would also be a good way to fill the hours in between lectures when you're supposed to be doing assignments.:pac:

I would LOVE a Subway...my favourite sandwich shop in the world!

Also...I bake so I don't need no superquinn buns......total bareface attempt at promoting my cakes....

We BADLY need a monorail (or similar) from the south to the north campus.

I don't give a toss what's installed as long as I don't have to haul ass over and back several times per day. I just think a monorail sounds cool!! :pac:

Both above me are on to something. I take back my bridge request. I want proper public transport, dammit  In fact, could've done with it in second year (the first time).

I just think its a bit crazy you can't go from one end of the co. to the other w/o having to go back into Dublin first

I'll go one better. For my teaching practice, I was placed in Dunboyne. Not all that far from Maynooth, really. By train though, it involved getting a train to Clonsilla at 7 in the morning, and praying that there'd be no delays, so I wouldn't miss the connecting train over to Dunboyne >_>
