If KFC came to Maynooth I would die 5 years earlier from being in there every single day. Seriously

    A professional running track.
    A Starbucks/costa coffee.
A café bar open till late with cool music sessions.
A small football stadium with seating so we can go watch our teams play.
    Open the new library.
    Dunnes 24 hr again.
    A 24 hour café.
A 24 hour library service (like universities abroad and i think some other colleges in ireland, really handy with deadlines?)
Canteen to provide dinners up till 6/7 rather than 2 or 3pm.
    A smoothie stall in college.
Free parking and no clamping. A free multi storey carpark so there are always spaces no matter what.
    An olympic size swimming pool.
A hover craft to carry us over to the south campus.
A NASA gravity simulation training unit.
An express helicopter service into town, or to and from pubs..
A bouncey castle in every building.
    Ok too far! :)

    A smoothie stall in college.
    There are smoothies in Chill

A shuttle bus to/from the campuses and around the town/estates would be amazing esp on really cold winter evenings :L

Canteen to provide dinners up till 6/7 rather than 2 or 3pm.

They did a trial of that in the canteen last year I think, but they didn't really advertise it and they did it over one week only, so it was an experiment designed to always turn out negative.

I have my doubts about the usefulness of a Multi-story car park, in Ireland people tend to prefer on street parking. But it would free up car parks for new developments.
A NASA gravity simulation training unit.

Sadly that doesn't exist, NASA, ESA, Roscosmos, etc all use ether swimming pools with adapted space suits to neutralize buoyancy or an air plane with the seats taken out that flies in parabolic arcs, which for a few seconds simulates microgravity. (these are also known as vomit comets)

    An olympic size swimming pool.

Would love one of these. It can get a little cramped, at times in the one we have.

Plus a big slide going into one too!

Hey, nothing stopping you from going on a parabolic flight like NASA... but it is pricey, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_Gravity_Corporation

There will not be a multi-story car park on campus in the foreseeable future, (unfortunately.)

For reasons too numerous to mention :(

A multi-story car park would be so good! I almost missed a tutorial on Wednesday morning 'cause I was driving around looking for somewhere to park and eventually I had to use pay and display parking.

I'm generally in college around 9-ish so finding somewhere to park isn't an issue, but this was after 10 and everywhere was full.

they should just build one where the SU carpark is, 4 levels , could easily fit 100 spaces.

You'd think that. Could never happen though. You'd never, ever get planning permission.

Ah now, Rye Hall has a lovely personality once you get to know her.

I want a Subway. and a 7 seater taxi to take my 40 stone weight out of there every night and bring me back in in the morning.

an extra 72 spaces have been created this year which is news to me, and an extra 72 after the library done which is a start anyway. but in order for a multi-story car park to have an impact it would have to hold well over a 100, closer to 500, which would cost around 10 million, the collage are spending most of there money on capital buildings, there's not that much land to build something that big, and some think that continued growth will just bring more cars anyway
