OpenOffice is a decent substitute if you're stuck, and downloading it is free and not illegal.

Pretty sure you can either get it here, or if that doesn't suit this should do the trick.

Apparently winter is "snuggling season" and people look more for a gf or bf since we're coming into it.Dude that sounds so weird to me.What difference does the season make if you like someone.

Technically you can download Office at anytime for free the only catch is you only have 30days b4 runs out. So just go Here and use it. you get bout 16 turns out of it. or your 30days. or use Open office, google documents. if you have windows 7 you can use Wordpad which is like word. or if you use your imagination the answer is right in front of you

My step mother has gone OTT on facebook. its so scary im seriously considering to tell her go and see a counselor. She runs her own, my dads, my sister's and my brothers. liking stuff for them and then liking that post from her own account. not to mention adding friends and stuff for them.

My brother has no interest in the thing and yet shes doing stuff he doesnt even know. she also rings people up telling them to accept such and such.... im actually scared.

If she keeps up at this rate im going to have to de add her as a friend which will bring us right back to the start of fighting. which i dont want. im trying to build a bridge just not one that relies on bookface

God it's awkward when Conversations turn about stuff close to you and you feel so uncomfortable and ya can't change it.

"Are you considering increasing funds to the space program?"

"Making sure we stay at the forefront of space exploration is a big priority for my administration. The passing of Neil Armstrong this week is a reminder of the inspiration and wonder that our space program has provided in the past; the curiosity probe on mars is a reminder of what remains to be discovered. The key is to make sure that we invest in cutting edge research that can take us to the next level - so even as we continue work with the international space station, we are focused on a potential mission to a asteroid as a prelude to a manned Mars flight."

    A prime example of a politician's answer.

... And your point is. My guess is every question was heavily reviewed before commenting back. and his cabinet wouldn't dare allow him to say anything else that could easily loose his place in power. Expect no more, Expect no less :pac:

    An asteroid, Mr. President

:pac: I do like reddit :D

But yeah I wish they'd just answer yes or no questions with yes or no! Instead they aaall ramble on about the topic in general until you forget what answer you're waiting for. And he is a really eloquent rambler :P It's easy to forget/overlook that he's a politician sometimes...

My point is that simply because of what you've outlined the whole AMA is a bit pointless as it's just standard farcical political campaigning.

Other than that I'm a little irked by his praise of NASA. I'm not big into politics so don't tend to keep myself up to date with matters, but from what I've heard his administration has been marked more by budget cuts and privatisation. It seems more like he's hindered future research and exploration so it rubs me the wrong way when he tries to spin the fact that NASA still exists as something positive.

I know spin is standard political MO but I think even by that standard it's a bit rotten.

It's really a typical, vacuous answer which fools nobody that the question just hasn't been answered. Much ado about nothing. Never opens up with a "yes" and elaboration or "no" and elaboration. Instead just some waffle about Curiosity and Neil Armstrong and then a vague statement about funding "cutting edge research."

That said, I do agree with his policy of outsourcing "routine" low-Earth orbit flights (mostly to the ISS) to private companies which can do it for much cheaper, now that the space station has been fully constructed. It allows funds to be diverted to Mars missions, but as far as I know it's not like the savings are being passed onto Mars research - just makes the space programme cheaper to run as a whole.

That said, I'd still rather see Obama win in 2012 than see Mitt Romney repeal "Obamacare" and send the military off for another madhat war and worse of all: have the Tea Party gain any more power.

Ah who cares about Mars? We all know the best way to utilise the savings is by invading more middle eastern countries to "pacify terrorist groups", and building more "detainment centres" (which shouldn't be mistaken for concentration camps, totally different) where we can "detain" and "interrogate" "terrorists" to aid our efforts.
