I am a man, I didn't cheat on my GF, didn't cheat on her when she was my fiance, now she's my wife and I don't cheat on her.

The grass is greener .... the thing is .. it's not always greener, but if you want to find out you'll have to move the cow's to another field !! and then open the gate so you can get in to said field at said grass !!

And by the time you've gotten in there it'll prob turn out the grass has a bad insect problem ... and you cant bring that back to the other field then !!

I read somewhere that men and women who live together and sleep in the same bed lose the chemistry because as it signals you are in the company of a family member. So sex becomes crap.

OP I would say your mate cheated purely and simply because he is a guy, but that would just be a load of sh*te. The truth is both men AND women do it. Some just because they can and they know they can get away with it. Second reason is that the cheater be they male or female feel like they are missing something in the relationship and look elsewhere for it. Both are as inexcusable as each other. The fact that your mate didn't bother using protection suggests to me that he is in the first category of cheaters. I'm sure there are other reasons as well but i agree with the poster that said if they are with one person, they are with that one person, end of. You OP are bang on when you said if you don't want to be with your partner then get out of the relationship. Mistakes can also happen but genuine mistakes wher someone cheats (as in it only goes so far as a quick snog as cheater instantly regrets it) as few and far between. Your mate needs a smack upside the head and a good kicking for what he has done/is doing to his gf imo.

I think it should be made happen, then couples will either stay together or go their separate ways,

I was dedicated to the cause, I used to give my mates a very hard time when they did it,

23 years into a marriage I got siht on, now I look back at all of the wasted opportunities I missed out on because I was dedicated to the cause,

the bottom line is if you see it and you like it and they like you pump it up, you never know it could be someone you might be more compatible with,

a lot of people stay in relationships because of the fear of ending up alone, and as soon as a better or more inclusive relationship comes along it is bye bye see ya later gaiter.

Both are in their early 30's
Been in relationship for a few years now and I'm not really too sure if other problems are going on personally

But thanks for the replies, as I'm knew to this and wanted to get it out there as I'm the only one that knows about this

I know a guy who used to go out with my friend Kate. Kate was a great girlfriend but he still cheated on her with this English girl called Edith.

When it all came to light and I asked him why he'd done it he said that although he knew it was wrong he really just wanted to have his Kate and Edith too.

I cheated on my boyfriend more times than I'll admit.

He was violent and I was scared to leave. 3 of the 4 years we were together were spent with me cheating whenever I got the chance. PRobably an attention thing at the time. Can't say to be honest.
