Cheers TO it's sorted now, order was randomized again - apologies to anyone who was more suited to the earlier time (and also anyone who got a less favorable draft spot)

    lesson learned i suppose

    Is this on ESPN?

Have so many leagues on the go it's tough to keep track!

What positions is the Flex between?

    RB/WR?
    WR/TE?

Sorry, it just usually states which but doesn't seem to this year.

If it doesnt specify then more than likely its any of the 3 positions

Disaster, moved from 7th to 11th! was loving 7th whereas I'm not a fan of drafting at the end of rounds :(

    Murphy's Law I suppose

If you want to be lower early, will swap my first two picks for yours TO if you're interested?

10th pick is the place to be :P

Do people think 1st round pick for 3rd and 4th round picks is good?

Nah I would rather pick in 10 11 or 12 for the whole draft rather than a couple of rounds.

    Guess not.

I'm open to any trade offers during the draft by the way. That includes my first round pick.

QBs: Cam Newton, Sam Bradford, John Skelton.

Delighted with Cam & Sam but Skelton was a stupid pick, we don't even know who the starting QB in Arizona is yet but I left it too late to take a decent QB3.

RBs: Jamaal Charles, Steven Jackson, Toby Gerhart, Ronnie Brown, Tim Hightower.

Meh, it's a solid set of RBs but nobody elite there and the Brown and Hightower picks could be wasted but there wasn't many other options.

WRs: Wes Welker, Miles Austin, Justin Blackmon, Brendan LaFell, Jacoby Ford.

Like my set of WRs. Welker will put up great numbers and Austin has the potential to but injuries may hold him back. Blackmon impressed me during preseason, think he and Ford could be sleepers. LaFell is another meh pick.

TEs: Vernon Davis, Jason Witten, Zach Miller.

Loving Davis and think Witten was a steal. Obviously his spleen is a concern but if he gets back to full health he'll be a savage flex option. Miller is only there to fill the bye weeks.

LBs: NaVorro Bowman, London Fletcher, Nick Barnett, David Harris.

Bowman is a beast, Fletcher is a tackle machine and Barnett puts up nice numbers too.

DBs: Kam Chancellor, Charles Tillman, Charles Godfrey, Roman Harper, Kenny Phillips.

    Delighted with this secondary.

DL: Jason Babin, Julius Peppers, Cliff Avril, Adrian Clayborn.

    Should do the job nicely.

    K: Matt Prater.

Think I should have taken Rnady Bullock just for comic effect.

Overall, happy enough with the draft though I think my RBs and WRs could be stronger. Can't wait for September 5th!! :)

    For anybody interested, this is the order I drafted in: Newton 11, Charles 14, Jackson 35, Welker 38, Austin 59, Davis 62, Gerhart 83, Blackmon 86, Witten 107, Bowman 110, Fletcher 131, Chancellor 134, Babin 155, Tillman 158, Bradford 179, Peppers 182, LaFell 203, Barnett 206, Brown 227, Godfrey 230, Prater 251, Avril 254, Harper 275, Harris 278, Ford 299, Hightower 302, Clayborn 323, Skelton 326, Miller 347, Phillips 350.

For a Pats fan and a team loaded with Pats players TO, very surpised to see Bernard Pollard on your team! :D

    My Team

    (9) Drew Brees QB
    (105) Andrew Luck QB
Delighted with these two. Brees will be great for few more years and by time he retires Luck should be awesome

    (16) Maurice Jones-Drew RB
    (33) Fred Jackson RB
    (88) Donald Brown RB
    (136) Daniel Thomas RB
    (160) Rashad Jennings RB
    (232) Evan Royster RB
    (280) Taiwan Jones RB
Not worried about MJD at all, delighted with getting him in 2nd round (picked up Jennings just in case). Jackson and Brown solid and rest are lottery tickets.

    (40) Brandon Lloyd WR
    (153) Randall Cobb WR
    (208) Jon Baldwin WR
    (256) Danny Amendola WR
    (297) Santana Moss WR
Weak part of my team, love Lloyd and Cobb but questionable after that.

    (64) Antonio Gates TE
    (328) Marcedes Lewis TE
Think Gates will be back near his best this year, well hope so. Lewis is bye week, disappointed not get better backup.

    (352) Lawrence Tynes K

    (57) Jason Pierre-Paul DE
    (177) Justin Tuck DE
    (225) Calais Campbell DE
    (321) Ahtyba Rubin DT
Had JPP as no.1 defensive player so very happy with him, rest of the guys should be good.

    (81) D'Qwell Jackson LB
    (112) Sean Weatherspoon LB
    (129) Daryl Washington LB
    (249) Mason Foster LB
    (273) DeMeco Ryans LB
Very solid LB group, tackle machines.

    (184) Tyvon Branch S
    (201) Eric Weddle S
    (304) Reggie Nelson S
    (345) Dawan Landry S
Went all safeties to pile up the tackles, happy with Branch and rest we'll see.

    Trade Talk
Would like to improve my WR group and backup TE.

Am open to offers, in particular for my RB's.
Adrian - you interested in injury-prone Run DMC's backup Taiwan Jones as insurance?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,705 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

That was a real slog! Ended up with:

QB: Matt Schuab, Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, Brandon Weeden

RB: LeSean McCoy, CJ Spiller, Cedric Benson, Pierre Thomas, Ronnie Hillman, Bernard Pierce, Chris Rainey

WR: Julio Jones, Hakeem Nicks, Antonio Brown, Michael Floyd, Golden Tate, TY Hilton

    TE: Aaron Hernandez

    K: Adam Vinatieri

LB: Sean Lee, Von Miller, Aldon Smith, Clay Matthews

DL: Haloti Ngata, Michael Brockers, Jeremy Mincey

DB: Eric Berry, Jarius Byrd, Earl Thomas, Ladarius Webb

Happy enough overall. Hopefully a 2nd or even 3rd RB jumps out behind Shady. I'm not sure how my defensive players will do scoring wise but I picked mainly young players so hopefully I'm set there for the next decade :pac:

Just tested out the FAAB system, just to let you know guys you can enter $0 bids. So you'll get him if no-one else bids and you don't waste any cash

I already have Mike Goodson, I don't need all the raiders running backs.
