i don't recall seeing that rule, perhaps you'd be good enough to point it out?

I'm sure his swearing is also covered

    Certainly. Here you go.
    Grammar nazis not welcome

Not everybody is as perfect as you are. Some people have learning difficulties. Some people are dyslexic. Some people are stupid and finally some people just don't care about their spelling and grammar. It's not your job to police them. If a post is illegible, contains excessive text speak or lacks paragraphs/punctuation etc., you may point it out nicely. Once. If someone has already done so, leave it alone.

If someone is an established user and their spelling/grammar is not great, they have probably had it brought to their attention many times before. There is no need to highlight it again.

Feel free to report any posts that may need moderator attention.

But you shouldn't need to be told this. Nobody likes a Grammar Nazi.

    Fair play to him .

Could have easily taken the extension and the money .

I don't like the slagging off he gets as people have very short memories of what he has done and achieved for the club.

I will never forget his double cramp in Istanbul :pac:

I was surprised nobody found some way to blame him for Skrtle's backpass yesterday.

Did you not see him on the sideline shouting to at Skittles
"turn out, turn out" when he was getting closed down ?

He is totally responsible for him not clearing his lines.

    ;)

    I'll give it a go.

Carragher should have retired last season. Training with him every day has contaminated the rest of the squad and lowered the passing ability of Skrtel. If carragher was not around, Skrtel wouldn't have made that pass.

    How did I do? :p

Officially known as the Adolf/Roger Sterling rule.

Tbf, had it been Carra in that position the result would probably have been a Man City goal kick :pac:

Skrtel is still concussed from that time Carra shattered his jaw. Bloody Carragher.

Suarez's discipline is atrocious in fairness.

    Another absolutely pointless yellow yesterday.

There was a shocking tackle against a team mate of his right in front of the ref who decided to give nothing. He was dead right to give out about it.

The only reason he got a yellow was because of who he is.

Same as last week when he threw his arm up in the air toward a lines man & had a little moan about a decision. Literally the type of thing we see hundreds of times every weekend. Yellow card.

5 minutes later, Long does identical thing toward an official (the only difference was, Suarez was about 20 yards from the linesman. Long was in the linesmans face). No punishment.

He should learn to keep his mouth closed though, particularly if refs card him due to his reputation.

We need him on the pitch.

The fat bloke on talksport says West Ham have agreed a deal to sign Joe Cole.
I do believe 'Moose' is a West Ham fan too but his rumours this summer have been crap I believe.
Didn't he say Klopp was lined up to take over from Kenny?

Hopefully he's right this time though :)

    Any word on Lucas' injury?

Twitter rumours from a number of the more successful Liverpool ITKs that we made a firm enquiry about Huntelaar, and were told it would take 100K a week and a fee of about £15M (as he's in the last year of his contract). At 29, that isn't a typical FSG signing, so it seems it went no further.

But if we got a good price for Carroll, it's almost a swap, and a HELL of an upgrade...

    Would love it

Spearing to Bolton and Carroll back to Newcastle is the other two doing the rounds. If all that happens and we bring in another player who can play across the front three and a striker this will have been one hell of a transfer window. Also I don't think we would have a single person at the club I'm not happy to have in the squad.

Which sources? Anyone reliable yet? Wish arry was still managing somewhere, he'd take him off us in a second

Richard Buxton is the only one of any substance I've seen reporting it but I think someone said in the thread most of his contacts have disappeared in the last few years.

Any truth in the story that Newcastle get a % of a sell-on fee for Carroll, or is it BS?

If so, he'll go for peanuts

If it's true, would surely be void if we sell back to them...

If Newcastle get another penny from us for Andy Carroll, I'll hunt down and kill Comolli myself (or just cry into my hands)

Why sell him back to the Toon they are one of our main competitors

It's quite difficult to sell him to a team that doesn't want to buy him

Cause they'll pay the price, and he'd be willing to go there, and maybe they'll be worse then!

Are you sure that's really Lee Clayton of the Daily Mail and not a fake? For a Daily Mail story, it lacks a xenophobic angle
