Bit of chocolate and a few scented candles wouldn't go amiss in here.

Aw FFS will you grow up little boy.
Give your opinions for what they are and allow others to give theirs. If they disagree with yours then take it like a man.
Stop throwing your toys out of your pram if people disagree with you. It's called growing up.

It's easy to say let's stop the insults after you've done most of it isn't it?:pac:

Agree with that. It is only me that seems to think Diaby has actually shrunk? He always looked bigger and stronger before.

I was saying the same last week. He looks more breakable now, which hasn't been the case but definitely looks meeker, for want of a better word.

I remember a passing run he and Eboue made on the right wing a few years ago which resulted in a great goal by Diaby (i think) and they reminded me of two unstoppable Hulks running at the opposition.

we used to me a team of midgets but we've a fair bit of height in there now so he looks fairly normal thats all.

Wudnt be suprised if the shrunk they probably removed a few bones and muscles to lessen the likelyhood of him getting in jured.

Wow didn't expect to come on here and see two seasoned boards gooners going at it. Alas, nothing that can't be solved with a cock joke.

On another note. Is Cazorla right footed or left footed? Seems to constantly use both

    Both

    Great skill to have.

Sure is, and really does add value to a player.
Still can't believe we got him so cheap.

On an offnote Tottenham are proud to announce a partnership deal with Real Madrid.:D

When I heard it I could almost see the Real Madrid president,
'aye no problem lets sign a deal to share, just sign here for Modric. Hows that young Bale lad doing?'

We have no choice, we have no other RB's for cover.
Sagna won't be back anyday soon.

One downside to having two 0-0 draws in our first two matches is that Arsenal have had to cancel the goal of the month competition for August. :o

Not sure if these are genuine quotes from Sahin, but it may paint a better picture as to why he went to Liverpool.

    AFC ‏@WheeLer_AFC

Quotes surfacing regarding Nuri Sahin: "Real Madrid wouldn't let me join Arsenal as it would allow Song to join Barca."

Are Real Madrid that scared of Song giving them dirty looks from the bench? :pac:

    Yeah that worked didn't it?:pac:

Wouldn't believe anything that Wheeler chap says. He deleted that tweet 5 minutes after he posted it as well. No source or anything like.

Only for i saw it posted by some other people is why i said id throw it out here. Would be strange that a new signing would say he originally wanted to go to a different club.

I came across this a few minutes ago and thought it was funny that Spurs paid for the taxi to take Petit to meet Arsenal

    http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/38028/Petit_Spurs_paid_the_cab_then_two_hours_later_I%E2%80%99d_given_my_word_to_Arsenal.aspx

Arsenal hero and double winner Emmanuel Petit has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Alan Sugar paid for his taxi to Arsenal when he arrived in England from Monaco, and later that day he rejected the White Hart Lane club to sign for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.

Emmanuel Petit signed for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal in the summer of 1997 along with the likes of Gunner's legends Marc Overmars and Gilles Grimandi, and the Frenchman went on to lift the Premier League, FA Cup and World Cup in 1998. However the poney tailed French international was close to signing for Arsenal's North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, having a meeting with then Chairman Alan Sugar and Tottenham Hotpsur manager Gerry Francis.
Up until now the alleged meeting with Tottenham Hotspur and taxi from White Hart Lane to Arsenal were pure legend, but former Arsenal star Petit, speaking to Four Four Two Magazine, cleared up rumours regarding the meeting with Tottenham Hotspur, and the rumours that the club paid for his taxi to Arsenal, when the Frenchman snubbed a move to White Hart Lane in favour of joining the Gunners. Petit said:

“I don’t know if it was Gerry Francis who paid, but it’s true the day I arrived in England I first went to White Hart Lane. I had a meeting with Mr Sugar and they made me an offer.

“Two hours later they ordered me a black cab, it was pre-paid, and I went to see Arsene Wenger at his place. When I arrived he was with David Dein, and two hours later I’d given my word to Arsenal”

Petit also spoke of the famous chant sung by Arsenal fans, “he’s French, he’s quick, his name’s a porno flick.” He digressed:

“Yes, I knew what it meant. I was happy, because it is a form of recognition to have a song named after you.

“It reminds you of Emmanuelle sitting on her chair with her legs crossed. The Emmanuel films were very good, especially the one…which one is it again? When she is sitting on the swing, it starts raining and they throw themselves on the floor and start rolling about in the mud. I adored it!”
