    It's not in a city, it's in Essex, which is a county, and in a quite rural part of it. Plenty of hiding spots and food.

    Here's a photo. It certainly does resemble a Lion, but it is actually related to the equine family.

    They have been sold to The Sun according to BBC Look East. :rolleyes:

    But they were shown to someone at Colchester Zoo before that and who said they weren't clear enough for him to be able to say whether it was a lion or not.

    people should be prohibited from owning exotic animals as situations like this can occur did anybody ever see animal hoarder on ch4 where a bunch of lions and tigers got loose in the usa they all had to be shot
