    Nobody, I'm just anti-Man Utd.
    .....

Probably gonna regret starting this, but why do you bother?

Nobody, I'm just anti-Man Utd. Why did you embolden 'you'?

I dont normally go all Magnum PI, but that sh1te post you put up earlier about hating United and supporting nobody else got me thinking.

You support no one? Why then have you constantly referred to Liverpool as 'us' and 'we'......

    All from the Liverpool superthread...
I think Messi is good, we should get him
    Link.
I think it's the player's contract, not the fee.

    So more like:

    Our offer £40k p/w
    Their offer £55k p/w
    Our next offer £80k p/w
    Link.
No, he's not near good enough. Wouldn't like to see him here
    Link.

    GTFO.

That Roger Sterling guy is over there bothering them. In retaliation, they've sent over a deep cover agent.

    Crafty bastards.

    How edifying. On both ends.

New rule for Soccer: troll another club's thread and you get a permaban. All in favour?

Gutted I won't get to see the match today. I'm in Australia so it starts at 11pm, but I've to be up at 6am for work, so I can't stay up.

Hoping to wake up and see goals from Kagawa and RVP!

I should say stuff like this more often.

I got quite the thrill when they showed the league table last night alright. Long may it last.

Rooney is taking a hammering in the press. I think he played badly last year and I'll stand by that but a large portion of that was down to Rooney have to drop so far deep to receive the ball and tried to become the creator and the scorer. Now we have Kagawa and van Persie we're not reliant on Rooney any more. I hope Rooney works on losing a few pounds and getting himself super fit and becoming a better player because of what is around him.

I hope Anderson gets his match fitness back pretty quick and starts to use his own strength and dribbling ability in midfield. Dembele showed what can be done with quick feet and strengh, the things Anderson could be doing for United.

If there was any truth to the Dembele rumours earlier in the summer i'd be shocked if SAF wasn't looking for some money this morning.

Cleverley is great to have back in the team. He has the attacking side of his game fine tuned. Probably just needs more games to sort out the defending. He isn't the biggest and has decent speed not super speed, so he needs to make sure his timing is bang on when he goes into challenges with likes of Dembele or a Ruiz. Otherwise they will be gone and he won't catch up with them. I think he can do it, match practise is the biggest thing for finding that timing.

the EPL gets stick for being bigged up but I have to say Everton and Fulham have showed that there are sides outside the top few teams that have some really good players and its only the squad size that lets them down. Strong, experienced defenders and a good selection of intelligant attackers, powerful forwards between them.

Rafael was amazing yesterday I thought. Brings a whole new dimenson to our attack. I never want to see Valencia at RB again.

With Rooney out I have to admit I am looking forward to seeing RVP and Berbatov playing together at some stage. I have a feeling they will really compliment each other. Whether Fergies thinks the same is another question.

Lol. Its amazing the number of Liverpool fans who have stopped supporting the team. Now they don't support anyone, but hate United. I know two personally.

Off you go radiator, go warm the rest of your kind. I hear it's pretty cold at the bottom of the league.

Anybody watch the Sunday Supplement earlier?

They were bigging up the Rooney for sale for £50 million rumours plus Nani & Anderson to be sold for £15 million each.

Crazy,Rooney has a poor game vs Everton (I've never seen him having too many good games vs them) comes on yesterday & gets a nasty injury the all of a sudden the press have him down as on the way out.

Anderson sold for £15 million I could understand but Nani for the same money-crazy!!

I would give serious consideration to 50m for Rooney if we could be guaranteed the money be spent on players.

I'd quite happily take 15 million for Anderson, I'd want twice that for nani tbh.
Rooney's injury should mean more playing time for chico who must have been considering his future recently.

Rooney might not be at his best but who could united buy that would match his goal scoring in the last few seasons? I'd actually be amazed if rvp could match rooney's tally from last season

Thought cleverly was excellent yesterday, both himself and DDG need to put serious time and effort into bulking up this season, that's the only weak part of thier game.

Anderson for me is still 'meh', I'd take Dembele/Fellani over him in a heartbeat.

Bring back Jame Gumb, id swap Nani for Hazard in the morning, he's going to be world class. Nani is the most frustrating player in the world, everyone knows what he is capable of, but he's not consistent enough and goes missing too often. The £15m being touted for him is ridiculous in todays market though.

Rooney is a massive player for us, but we no longer rely on him. If he dosnt gel with RVP, I think Robin will get the nod. The time he held us to ransom may come back to bit him in the hole. If £50m was on the table (and I knew it would be spent on players) I'd take it.

Only my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Are Nani and Anderson being put up for sale to raise funds for another signing i wonder?
All sorts of swaps and bids for players being mooted on twitter.......Fergie did say we were finished business though,i wonder........

I think RVP will help Rooney as there is no need to be reliant on him now and his gametime can be used more effectively likewise RVP will have to get used to being rotated.
Far too often Rooney was played while not 100%,at least now he can be taken out for a few games if needed

Watched it and couldn' believe my ears! I'm not sure where they got the notion that Fergie was talking about Rooney. One tabloid said he might be sold, absolute rubbish I'd say.

If anything, I would have thought that the player he was referring to was Nani.

Why would he be talking about having one of the best strike forces in Europe one week, and the next week consider breaking it up.

Say you got 50 million for Rooney, who would you replace him with?

You would be pushed to get 2 quality players for that money.

Fergie wont splash the silly money it takes to real quality these days, and strikers like Cavani etc would all be north of 35 million

I disagree, wasn't that long ago, Fergie made a big thing about Rooney wanting to play every minute of every game. I think he's the type to get disgruntled easily if left on the bench for a string of games.

If anything, I really hope RVP does the business while Wayne is out, least then he will know he's got a fight on his hands to get in the side, something very new to him.
