    Was he not getting linked to liverpool this morning. Im not sure if i dreamt it or what. Its all a muddle.

    Yeap, its like a competition on getting one over another team. Like, I don't really know much about him, he is fairly highly rated but he could turn out like a turd sandwich. Yet, I dont care, I want him at Arsenal because Liverpool also want him. :D Football eh!! Fans would fight over a bowl of special K.

    I think he was the German leagues player of the year, then got signed up by Real Madrid. I think he's probably fairly good.

    i understand he's a great tackler though - it seems Wenger doesn't want 1 midfielder to have a specific defensive role but that 2 players share the position as with Arteta and Song last season.

    I know vice captain and all that stuff isn't that important but good to see artetas influence on the team being recognised so early on.
