Only 2 clear rounds so far... Come on Cian!

Leave the past in the past, I'm delighted.

Two clears out of 14 who have jumped so far... this is interesting...

What time is his second round on at? I have a feeling it's on at 2...which is the same time as Katie Taylor's fight...

Second round starts at three and he'll probably be towards the end in the jumping order.

Yeah it will go in order of scores i think so he should be first off of the clear rounds.

    Ah thank god.

Alot of people say the same, and I took a long time to feel differently, but I say let the past be in the past, everyone will have their own views on what happened, but no one can deny he is a great rider. And if he does well he deserves the Gold.

yes you have a point about the past, he did well today so far anyway.
I would love to have seen Hickstead here it was such a tragedy what happened him. Apart from that I am looking forward to Nick Skelton, it would be good to see him do well too.

I'm really looking forward to Nick Skelton! I grew up watching mostly British Riders on TV, and I have a real affinity to some of them!

If this runs in reverse order I think he may be last to go.

Finding it hard to get behind him but as a Irishman I wish him luck.

I'd like to see Ireland get the gold :)

However if it can't be us, he really deserves it. He's been around for years, amazing rider. I grew up watching him and Arko III

Very confused and mixed feelings about Cian O'Connor. I love equestrianism, and I would love to see a gold for Ireland obviously.

I'll be 100% honest I'm the same. I'd love if it was Shane Carey or someone like that, but I do think if he won it, it would be nice to take our names out of the dirt after the fiasco last time.

One of the 5 faulters gone clear so that's the early target.

Lots of 4 faulters to come before O'Connor though.

I was racking my brains trying to think of the horse of Skelton's that I loved and it was Apollo, he was such a great horse to watch.

.02 seconds earlier and he would have been penalty free. Great round though.
