    1st heat. Finishers 10-15 seconds off the WR. Reminded me of one of the swimmers who nearly had to be rescued in either the last or the previous olympics.

    nevermind the beach volleyball, its the womens Hockey is where its at...some fine looking women in it esp the dutch team... lovely tanned toned legs mmmmm :p

    ARchery is gas to watch. Eddie Butler from the rugby is a good aul commentator too. However it is one of those sports you look at and say with a bit of practice I could do that :D

    Think Annalise Murphy in the sailing will be a household name by the weekend, just about to win her 3rd race out of 3. Heard she had based herself in Weymouth and looks like it's paid off for her. Seven races still to go though but she seems to be dominating her class.

    There's a long way to go before the end of the race yet. But, yea, outstanding performance so far.

    Went to the Judo on Sat at the excel. Great atmosphere and the volunteers and army were very helpful. Can't wait until next week, off to the women's footie final at Wembley.

    Folks, best to follow the sailing on the BBC red button option if you have it. RTE haven't as yet, got anyone down at Weymouth. They're probably sorting that out as we speak but at least the Beeb are covering it live.
