I once took this chick to the cinema who did this. I was disgusted with her. Told her I'll be back in a minute i need the jax. She is probably still waiting for me.
Did that chick mention Galway GAA by any chance?

If she did I wouldnt even give her the courtesy of telling her where I was going. I would have just got up and walked out.

Did anyone watch Britains Hardest on Sky One? I recorded them and there is a pro wrestler on it now called Hade Vansen. I'm 99% sure it's the same one who used to be in WWE. Wikipedia doesn't have anything about it on his page.

    When was that on?

A few weeks ago. The one I'm watching now says the 18th. Don't know if it was a daily thing or what, my dad recorded them but hasn't watched them so I have been.

    Sky two, not sky one.

Suprised the Spanish footballers are out of the olympics already based on what I seen on thursday and today the standard is quite bad so it came as a shock to me.
Looking forward to the All Ireland semi's in a few weeks. Tipp vs Kilkenny could be very interesting as neither have hit their form in the championship yet.

Kilkenny ftw. We haven't won in a while. :P

Big Zeke Jackson tweeted me there. As I always say, it's the little things that make life bearable. :)

Flah close his account and chordy is more of a lurker. Dunno about the others.

Is it a virus or is your ISP down?

It says "Not Connected. No Connections Found." Refuses to find it but I'm using the internet (wirelessly.... is that a word?) now so I know it works. Everything else on the computer works so I'm hoping its something simple.

Download malwarebytes' free antimalware on another computer and run it on your comp. Sounds like a virus.

Or turn your modem off and on again and make sure it's connected :p

+1 for Malware Bytes, excellent software. If you don't have an anti virus program then get Microsoft Security Essentials. It's excellent and completely free and between both of those you should catch most things before they become a problem.

Do you have a filter on your telephone line connection to the modem?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

I'm 99% sure I have maleware bytes already on it so I'll run that the next time its on.

    Whats the filter about?

Connection comes from the attic to a small connection box on the wall to the modem to the pc.

Just stopped working the other day so I'm assuming its either some wrong with the computer or hopefully just a virus.

Peter Jackson - Two Hobbit films become Three
It is only at the end of a shoot that you finally get the chance to sit down and have a look at the film you have made. Recently Fran, Phil and I did just this when we watched for the first time an early cut of the first movie - and a large chunk of the second. We were really pleased with the way the story was coming together, in particular, the strength of the characters and the cast who have brought them to life. All of which gave rise to a simple question: do we take this chance to tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as the filmmakers, and as fans, was an unreserved ‘yes.'

We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance. The richness of the story of The Hobbit, as well as some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, allows us to tell the full story of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the part he played in the sometimes dangerous, but at all times exciting, history of Middle-earth.

So, without further ado and on behalf of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Wingnut Films, and the entire cast and crew of “The Hobbit” films, I’d like to announce that two films will become three.

It has been an unexpected journey indeed, and in the words of Professor Tolkien himself, "a tale that grew in the telling."

    Cheers,

    Peter J

Just won tickets to the Irish premiere of the film Grabbers where the tagline is "When an island off the coast of Ireland is invaded by bloodsucking aliens, the heroes discover that getting drunk is the only way to survive." Class!

I got it on the laptop. :D

Sometimes it takes ages because it's wireless but it wasn't too bad this time. That's why I hate downloading stuff on the laptop, connection isn't as fast.
