At 2.01 as he talks about the blind people he healed he is shaking his head.

Now I've watched at least three episodes of 'lie to me' so I can say with authority that this subconcious gesture means he has no confidence in what he is saying.
He doesn't believe he has healed people.... I would almost risk the law suit of saying this man probably isn't Jesus.

Ive watched a few of his videos(on youtube), and while he is definitely convincing(oscar worthy) in his lies, as a person who is conscious of body language signals, there is no way he is who he says who he is or even actually believes that he is Jesus.

In another video he is getting interrogated by an Australian reporter and he becomes quite flinchy and defensive. If this guy is actually the real jesus(if there is such a person) he would be very calm and methodical and would answer any question thrown at him with superior logic and intellect.

He's far from nuts. Well possibly a psychopath. Doesn't believe a word of it.

you know, if jesus did exist, and he was the son of god, if he ever came back he'd find himself drugged up to the eyeballs in a nuthouse pretty sharp
Never in a relationship. That is a laugh. How do you know? The bible which was heavly censored by the church who are not known for the treatment of women at the best of times??? See does crop up alot of time in the bible. Plus language changes over time. So what if jesus did have a sexual relationship with a woman. What difference does it make?
she was a prozzie? Where does it say that she was a prostitute may i ask?

Back to the origional one. You are assuming that jesus is god, (or one that is part of 3 that is also the trinaty or whatever). First off jesus never said that he is god. He 'thought us' to say 'our father who art in...' See the our? That implys that we are all sons and daughters of god does it not? He 'came down from hevan and became man'. does this not mean that anything that he 'achived' we can also achieve if we put our mind to it? Might have to spend 20 odd years in medatation to do so (jesus's missing years). otherwise what was the point in becoming man?
The divinaty of jesus crist was voted upon by those in the church a cuple of hundred years after his death in the treaty of nicea. The church was loosing members and they thought (rightly) that if they made jesus divine they would attract more members.

On this basis i declare myself the son of god

Where does it say this? It proberly does say it somewhere but The bible says alot of things. Book of relevations says alot too. Interesting read if you ever get the chance.

I have seen evidence that suggests jesus was a mushroom. Doesn't make it true. There is people who believe this. Google it if you dont believe me.still more believable than the orgional though

    I agree :D

The council of nicea decided on the trinity, Jesus was assumed God long before that. And it wasn't losing members it had just become a State religion.

There was a fella on one of the forums here claiming this as well, and also wanting official recognition from the Irish govt of the same.

    You get them!

Is that the guy that sent a load of flowers and pizzas to the World Atheist conference in Dublin last year but was too dumb not to give his real name and ended up paying for all the stuff himself while ensuring that everyone at the conference got a free meal out of it? Sound chap altogether!

Ive done a bit of research of this guy and his teachings. First of all, he claims his partner is Mary magdeline, but Jesus was never married or in a relationship with Mary Magdeline, she was just a follower(ex-prozzie who he healed, according to the bible). secondly, as prophesised in the bible, there are 3 comings of jesus, the original one where lives on the earth and dies for the salvation of mankind(done), second coming is where he appears in the sky and makes a signal but goes away quickly without touching the ground, and the 3rd coming is where, after 7 years of rule by the anti-christ, he comes back to dethrone him, and end the world. On that basis, this guy is full of sheet.

Where do you get this crap from? Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute!

The rest of what you said was fine.

Yip heard of that guy, the Waco cult i think it was. Already this guy(AJ Miller) he's only been on the scene a few years but he's been getting his followers to move into a commune type place with him, disconnect from their families, donating lots of money and predicting the end of the world soon. mass suicide beckons methinks(or something along those lines)

And we have, of course, lots of records independent of the bible to confirm this. No wait....

Why are we so quick to dismiss this guy? He could be Jesus. I could be Jesus. So could you.
I'm Jesus and so is my wife.

Well it was 2000 years ago, i dont think there are too many records about anything that happened then or before then. Most of the accounts that were recorded in the bible were either 2nd, 3rd or 4rth hand accounts of what happened and there seemed to be many of them.

ya walking on water, its a bit of a stretch for david Copperfield with modern technology but hey, 2000 years ago, no problem

Well if 2nd, 3rd and hell even 4th hand accounts are good enough for you then it's good enough for me!

There is no mention of him having long hair in scripture.

that is a reply waiting to be torn appart... no offense

As for the mirracles. I agree that there is somethings that can be fully explained surrounding people who medatate ALOT (as in years). when i say cant be explained i mean can be explained yet. What religion someone is doesn't effect that.
I garentee you that if anyone of us spend 20 years medatating away from society that we would be cappabale of alot more than we think. Jesus wan't that special. He just manage to garther followers.
And as you say alot of what is in the bible is 2 or 3 or 4 accounts of what happened. As with anything the more times that something is retold the more exagrated that it gets.
There is nothing that jesus done that cant be dont by everyone else if we really put our minds to it
