Must say its been quiet an eventful evening im surprised no one had called the gards. My ankles feel in bits. :(

Went to see the Dark night tonight. .... Ive never seen Batman before but honest opinion I was bored. for about 10 mins or more(so it felt like) Batman was missing. Wasnt even involved in the movie.. I mean wftch? Full house though 2 days in a row. So Unfortunatly i have to say Batman has not made my list of Hero's. Dunno just something about the attitude of him was very grown up and dark. . . Came out only to be asked was anyone shot -_- Not impressed! :(
    1. Ironman
    2. Spiderman
    3. James Bond

Tbh thats a very very bad list.
And Batman is grown up and dark. He isnt in a happy peaceful world dealing with fantastical creatures and amazing supervillains. Hes a man (granted with near unlimited resources) fighting against psychopaths, homicidal maniacs, insane pedophiles and all around lunatics. Some of his story arcs are without a doubt some of the most depressing and dark things Ive ever read.

Also never seeing a batman film before the final part of a series is never going to help

Its all the superheros and fighters i like. I was told by my friends that you didnt have to see them before hand that their were no connection and new cast... If there was more action in it suppose would been better. towards the end i was liking it when the
    war kicked
off. But found the ending bit predictable. I woundnt say it was an epic letdown but could been better imo

My list is short because i dont like that many im not the big comic type person. only upto recently was i able to add ironman..

I dunno you could have done your research a bit, it's the last film in a trilogy so there's obviously going to be a connection...

Reminds me of people who go to concerts without having listened to the artist's newest material and then moan about not knowing any of the songs played.

This couldn't be further from the truth. Its part of a trilogy and very dependent on viewers knowing most of the characters in advance.

Incidentally, Batman is my favourite superhero because he's so dark. In fact, I like the Dark Knight series so much because it doesn't seem like a superhero film rather its more like a thriller. I don't care for the likes of Iron Man at all.

I liked Dark Knight more than the 3rd. I still thought this one was good I liked the beginning and the way it ended. The middle seemed to move slow at times. I want to see it again.
I'm not sure if Spiderman or Batman is my favourite. I enjoyed them both. But you can't really compare the first Amazing Spiderman with the 3rd in the Batman trilogy.
I watched the old Spiderman yesterday and I do prefer the new one it seemed more realistic. But the other Spiderman was still good I still love the movies.

I had no interest in batman ever... watched one movie(bits of it) as a child... all i remember is getting sick :(

ya the new Spiderman (reborn) is much better than the last ones imo

I like how remember so much about my grades... STALKER!! :P

And yes I did do phys/chem in one year, about ten people in our year did that! :P In fairness it's one of the easiest subjects to do in a year. :D

Don't talk to me about the B1, it was a freak of nature, all I want this year is a B3. I'd take a C but to be fair it would look bad to drop that much. :o

Do post more, it's fun!! :D All the cool LCers are posting here now. :P (Most of them would of course have to disappear right when I'm posting this...) :pac:

I love the new one. I've always thought Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield had great chemistry in the movie. They're actually dating in real life no wonder there's so much chemistry.

In my school they finished the course in 3 months apparently, then spent the rest of the two years doing extra stuff?! :pac:

Hard to not remember when yer always on about it  I'll be crushed if I get less than a B1, and even a B1 is still a bit eugh for me considering my teacher is rooting so hard for me :P

I know they are, duh, like I'm here. :D

    Hi to everyone else too!

A girl I went to school with just got engaged to her boyfriend of a few years and people are calling her crazy.i think thats so weird, people don't think it's strange anymore of you're pregnant or living with someone in your early 20s but a ring an a promise seems strange to them.

    I just don't get it.

What I found most disappointing about the new batman was that people who watched the previous films didnt get some of the jokes :(

    for example,
When Fox shows Bruce Wayne the "Bat" and says yes, it does come in balck :P

I was planning on saving most of my wages for college, but spending them now on a new iPhone, laptop and clothes for college is practically the same thing, right? Right? I think so.

Although I'm sure I'd get a pretty good idea if I read Fifty Shades of Gray...

This isn't very off topic but does anyone know any good type of thing for getting rid of spots, I only have 2 or 3 but they're getting annoying. I got Clearasil ages ago and it teared up my face altogether so I guess I must have sensitive skin or something.

Why do you think french maid is such a popular costume?

Avoid Clearasil and Clean&Clear etc...they're very abrasive on the skin which makes the problem worse!:( Neutrogena is really good, and reasonably priced. And use a moisturiser after washing your face. Products aimed at clearing skin will have a drying effect, and if you don't balance it out with a moisturiser, it can make your skin worse. Nothing fancy, aloe vera gel is really good if you're not bothered about brands, and won't bother sensitive skin!

    Yes! :D

... Opinion on Batman: Sehr gut!
Apart from Bane's voice/accent. That was a bit silly and distracting. Aisling put it well in the films/TV shows thread! Also, when Miranda dies... The acting just for that second... Lord... :| Some of it was maybe a little clichéd, like Catwoman saying she'd leave the city when the bomb was about to go off, then suddenly having a change of heart and coming to save the day in the nick of time - never saw that coming...! Still, overall it's a good movie!

Since we're talking brands, avoid Nivea young like the plague. I used it a couple of time and it made my skin ten times worse. I thought maybe I was allergic to it, but several of my friends have said it made their skin worse as well.
