Galliani: "Milan will sign a champion".

Any time Milan have said something like that, it has been a big name player, Rui Costa, Nesta, Weah, Ibrahimovic, etc.

Rumors it could be Kaká or Tevez.

Could only see either happening on loan though.

AVB chatting to Hulk last night in London of course all the "ITKs" are all over it!

I'd imagine that's Sandro hiding behind AVB's head.

Take him, it will stop us spending Millions more. :pac:

Yeah. I'm sure every hack in England is creaming themselves, besides the fact the AVB would know him from their Porto days and they were probably just having a chat...

If papers knew how often Muorinho talked to his ex-players they'd never stfu.

Berbatov is the obvious one, would fit right in there and cheap too.I'd say he would enjoy Italian football.

Failed the medical. I imagine Magath had him run through a few brick walls if not something crazier.

Please not Tevez. Can't stand him. I'd rather Jon Dahl Tomasson back.

FACT: Zlatan Ibrahimovic + Thiago Silva (£51.3m) cost less than Jordan Henderson and Andy Carroll@Footy_Jokes)

British players in transfer between British clubs = over inflated prices.

Always has and always will be, you can throw Torres into the bracket to.

If you managed to get T.Silva & Ibra for under €350K a week in wages between them I'd be surprised and thats something to take into consideration as very few clubs could afford it.

Apparently Thiago Silva is on €9m/year while Ibrahimovic is earning €13m/year.

That's €423k/week for the two of them :pac:

While the fees paid were ridiculous, you are talking a difference of about 200k in wages a week or 10 Million a year, or over 50 Million again in the unlikely event Carroll and Henderson both see out their contracts!

I can't see how PSG can justify the wages costs. What sort of revenues do they have?

Yep and now that these deals are done it looks unlikely the big money move for Doni from Liverpool to PSG will take place for fear of contravening FFP regulations so his name has been removed from the thread title :pac:

They might as well write off the Ibrahimovic deal, if he leaves in 2, 3years they won make much back on him and by that stage will have cost them over €60 Million in transfer fee and wages.

Silva could be sold if things dont work out or he wants to move to Spain or England and €9Million a year is what, roughly €170K a week? Cant see many teams outside City/Chelsea/Real/Barca paying that.

True, their investors will have to pump big money into the club for the forseeable future if there going to be paying Lavezzi/Pastore/Silva/Ibra/Sakho big, big wages.

They could be the first club to be stung by the UEFA F.F.P.

Nabbed this from Eurosport there now, Dzeko's agent said:
Edin would love to play in Serie A and with the Rossoneri. A move to AC Milan is more than possible. There have been discussions and they are continuing. Let's see what will happen in the coming days. After the departure of Ibrahimovic, Dzeko would be an ideal replacement and it would be a wonderful experience, but we are waiting to see what happens. Is there a 70 per cent chance that he ends up at Milan? Maybe.
Here's the link which will need to be translated (obviously)

I'd love to see Dzeko at AC, I went to the Wolfsburg game at Old Trafford and thought he was class! City never seemed like the right place for him, although 16 goals and criticism at the start of the season is great when he's in the same team as Balotelli, Aguero, Tevez, Silva and Nasri.

Obviously not a like-for-like replacement with Ibra, but a solid player like him would be a great buy

Ah that explains why Liverpool didn't bring him to the US! They didn't want PSG to up their offer after they see how good he is. All makes sense now!

They sell about 8 jerseys a year and a few bobbleheads for car windows and they mostly fill out the stadium whenever Marseille visit.

He's gonna piss through some of the defences in that league I would think. Especially when you consider he'll be playing with the likes of Lavezzi and Pastore.

Already have him backed top goalscorer, 5/1.

That is pretty good odds in fairness. Mind me asking where you got them?

The pre-season friendly, Chelsea v PSG on 23rd June in New York should have alot of star quality on show.

Verratti is fairly promising from what I remember, a Juventus suporting buddy was hoping theyed tie up a deal for him this summer.
