The Z77 extreme 4 has a clear cmos button on the rear panel, still having the same problems though. (I haven't tried removing & replacing battery btw)

I've already tried disconnecting dvd, disconnecting ssd and just having 1 sata connection to the hdd, but still get stuck on same screen & A2 debug code.

Well looks like I got sent a dud as I feared, was hard enough fitting the heatsink on & now I'll have to go through it all again.

Try with 1 stick of ram on the board?

    I have 4 x 4gb ram sticks on mobo atm. Already removed 2 & left 2 in slots 1 & 3 (or 2 & 4 can't remember).

Nothing changed other than the ram amount displayed changed on startup screen.
Then I removed the 2 & switched around each ram stick from its original location, stil no go..

^^ That is actually genius , on my 3870 x2 in crossfire I sellotaped an 80 mm fan over the fan for doubling cooling and it actually worked wonders for temps .

    Good idea in theory using
an ac unit, but your setup would be safer as it would not cause condensation to build up inside your pc. :)

What's the best way to take proper photos of your setup? I've been meaning to do it since I got the rig (December) but never got around to it. I might post pics tonight...

That white build is really nice looking actually with the white sleeves. I'd normally be very cautious about going for white builds probably because I'd be thinking of circa 90s computers, but this shows how it could be done.

This is much harder than first thought .

I should probably invest in a tripod :(.

    A certain Apple phone :o

I might see if I can find an actual camera, and try again.

Is your keyboard in properly? I'd google the problem as well to see if anyone else has had trouble with it.

Just an update on this, I was looking at the forums over on overclockers & tom's hardware and somemone mentioned about the usb drivers not being installed. When I get home later I'll try connecting an older ps2 bog-standard keyboard and hopefully I'll be able to get into UEFI.
