    Ouch is it bad?

It's bad enough to cost me about 250e from my own pocket.
So annoyed, apologises for the language in my OP but it was one of those days. Between a friends funeral I couldn't go to 'coz of work & then in work management trying to pass the blame for their laziness then the car it was just one of those days. The car getting hit was the icing on the cake! Think I shouted, cried then laughed! :o

That's 250e I don't have to spend on the car at the moment, but it's more so the lack of respect that's annyoing me.

New day put all that behind me! On a happier note, despite getting the news about my friend I had a great wknd full of camping, booze, cars & tracktime :D

Only have one pic handy, taken on my phone while packing up & it's flithy after doing 300+ miles in the wet, we decided to teepee his car then later on I was the one that had to drive it back to holyhead! The tissue didn't stay on long on the motorway :pac:

Look's alright, I can never understand why dealers don't take pictures of the inside of the car though. Always looks like they have something to hide. Wrong wheels though :P Make sure the services include DSG service too.

They're the right wheels, the 18's IMO don't look as nice and they are the worst wearing wheel in the world!

Wasn't there issues with those 18's though, that the face of them decays or some such weirdness?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,694 ✭✭✭✭L-M

    OSI wrote: »
Yeah, if you do damage to the face of them and don't seal it you can get "whiteworm" which is not so much of an issue over here as it's mostly the UK and it's salty salty roads that cause it.

Pretty much everyone of them I've seen has had white worm, the same with a lot of Mercedes wheels too!

Anyone any good at sourcing parts?

I really want a facelift grill for the Jag, but they seem to demand 200 pounds anywhere I look, and I'm fupped if I'm paying that for it.

Driving an Insignia now for the last two days while my own car is in getting work done, second time ive had one to drive and its just made me hate them even more and appreciate my own car more. Exterior wise not a bad looking car, interior the seats are horrible, very flimsy feeling everytime i turn on the wipers or indicator im afraid the levers going to fall off, only plus is has quite a good sound system. Drive wise feels very floaty and suffers fom understeer very easily indeed I just dont trust the car to go were I want it go.

Hurry up and give me my car back :o.

Are ya mad? Sun's been splitting the stones all day here!

The main reason for the rainy / overcast summer days were having is due to the jetstream being further south than usual. It should be over Greenland during summer months. The next half of this month is supposed to be good and settled. Plenty of dry car washing days then I hope.

It was good weather in Sligo, so I though of washing and waxing the punto. couldn't find the key of the punto. I turned the house upside down looking for the key. Searching for the key since 8 this morning and just after finding it 10 minutes ago..... In my pocket. :o
