I was just on the boards server, up in the NW airfield SE barracks area. I see this guy running through one of the gates, I shoot him, he disappears. I run around the place where I shot him for about a minute when he reappears on the otherside of the wall. I shoot him again. He runs through the wall, and disappears.

I don't know if it was lag, a disconnector, or someone else just happened to spawn in near where I shot the other guy. Happened at 19:45.

Bad desync at the moment master server is seeiing issues

If I go on the boards server with my camo suit in my backpack will I lose my entire inventory & backpack?

Just reading about this, the whole thing sounds amazing but has passed me by. Am I right in thinking that I just need to buy the Steam version of ARMA II and can apply the mod then? Also how intensive is the engine? I've a two-year old Core I5 laptop that's still pretty beefy as laptops go and that can play Diablo III at max settings.

This game is borderline unplayable for me now. Loading takes forever and I keep getting disconnected from servers. I just got a message saying "session lost" on the ie1 server before getting disconnected.

Edit: trying to connect to the boards server now and getting infinite loading screen, this didn't happen last time (half an hour ago) Why did they have to f*ck it up? I was having no issues with any servers until yesterday.

Oh no, First time in ages i got a hand gun, 2 clips, soda, beans, pain killers, bandages and the server looses connection ! Just as well i just shot off my last 2 bullets wildly at zombies and missed and was in the process of running into the forest

I seen a interesting bug today while at a tent. If you dont know how much stuff is in the tent and you keep loading it, eventually they will disappear when you move them to the left (into tent). But, it doesnt mean its gone...I overloaded a morphine and painkillers into the tent and then they appeared about 10ft away from the front righthand corner of the tent (open end), at about a 45degree angle...

Thought it was just a fluke at 1st, but tried it again and the reappeared in the same spot.

This was in 1.7.1.6, dont know if its the same in 1.7.2.

Its a bit f*cked up now.... a zombie started to attack me so i shot him with a full clip of makarov, 8 shots or whatever it is, he doesn't die he just keeps hitting me. So I fall to the ground bleeding and that stupid timer thing appears on the screen, then the zombie dies. The timer disappears so i get up and i start running backwards and can't stop myself unless I hold w which causes me to stand still! Because of this I can't bandage myself so I die of bloodloss. W T F.

If you get spawned in the wilderness what direction is it back to the mainland? Or can an admin put you back to the coast or something??

Ehh sounds like the debug forest? If so not a hope in hell in getting back. Best to just respawn

Player DC'd in combat at 21:05 it wasn't Ramsbo a he crashed while on TS with me. The player had a rifle with a scope but I didn't get his name. It was in the Barn south of Zelenogorsk.

This was 5 minutes before the server disconnected us - but he disappeared while pumping blood and me shooting him.

I think you can run out of it if you go in the right direction. You need two drinks and two cans of food to make it out though. It's actually a mate. I was there last week (the desert is the wilderness, not the forest) and got shot in the back by some f*****.

Ok so I just got killed in the barn - from outside the door most likely by the same cheating asshole.

Had full meds, blood, compass, matches and everything else.

This **** needs to stop.

They took it out now for the last couple of patches. You start with only a Torch, Painkillers and Bandage now and have to search for Weapons on the get go. Hatchets and Crowbars are now available as Melee Weapons though

Ok, i've gotten my ass handed to me a few times now by some zombies. Mainly sneaking(not very effectively obviously

) through some town/farm areas. If I could get my hands on a hammer or even a big stick I might have a chance

Small towns and villages are a waste of time and an unnecessary risk. When you spawn look at the bottom right of the screen, the game tells you where you are. Then use this map to figure out where you are and where the best place to go for loot is. I always head to cherno when I spawn. Its easy to find lots of loot there but its also easy to get murdered by other survivors so be careful.

And heaps of buildings in Cherno are barbed wired blocked and no way to get around them.

Realism is great but the levelling of griefing tonight has left me pretty much done with this game.

Oh dear O dear, Ive logged in and a new character has been started, i.e. progress is not saving. Every time I log into server it re-spawns me somwhere else.
Tried to re-spawn and now I'm knocked out on ground for 5 mins:(
