    Ok, a step closer to getting in now - keep getting stuck on the loading screen - i think this is a common issue...

    Sometimes restarting ArmA is enough.

    Quick question, can you use the ARMA 2 Beta patches on the boards server? or just the latest version as of Steam?

    IE1 will be updated about 7pm tonight to beta 94444 and version 1.7.2 Dayz (with latest server side hive update to prevent loading issues)

    It will be briefly password locked for testing and if anyone wants to moan about that they can head over to IE2! :D

    Should have it anyway, you can only join with the same version or above.

    94700 is the latest one.

    Found my first crashed helecopter (finally!) :D

    Looked for some goodies and only came across x 2 Stagnat mags, 2 Empty Tin cans and 1 chemlight :(

    Massive amount with 6870 and latest cats for me, arma 2 beta 64700 is fine.

    its not artefacts as such just a certain silver texture going mental.

    This is killing me now! Bought Arma combined operations on Steam just for this mod and it's still getting stuck on loading no matter which server I try.

    I've gone thru all the troubleshooting according to http://dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=How_to_install_DayZ#ARMA2_Beta_patch.

    I havent tried reinstalling the game because I would have to go through that painful download again ( 8 hours)

    Anyone come across this and found a fix?

    What are you using to launch? Whatever it is, make you are only trying to join servers with which you have a low ping. And then try again!

    Successfully joined LU7 just now.

    Id say connection issues most likely that last1.7.2 patch, its caused a lot of issues. I never got in on it and have been playing last version because of this.

    what version of dayz and what version arma 2 and what server?

    It's always a problem with a new patch. I filter servers for 1.7.2 and look for the ones that have the beta patch I'm using. A few of the UK ones are using 94444 and I don't have that loading issue anymore (with those servers at least).

    Arma patch 94700

    I've tried the boards server along with many others, all of which have a decent ping.

    I might try an older version of the Arma patch?

    I should say I'm using latest Dayz and latest Beta and can join servers with the same versions as I have.

    Ok, just tried to join LU7 and its stuck on loading :(

    EDIT - Ok, just got in :)!

    Different Server. Can just crap loot spawn on these helecopter crashes as well instead of good stuff? It looked like no one has been near it because there were still zombies about

    Loading screen on the Boards server but i can see 2 people are on it ! One is called testicle :D


    Edit : Did a restart of Six Launcher verified again and got straight in, and its lashing rain :(

    Running 947? now though
