I was crawling on top of a building and my character decided to burst up and sprint off the top of it.

I died straight away.

Why would I bother joking? Last night on the forum Rocket said he was removing the L85. He will be adding it back in in a future update.

IE1 Boards is 40-man.
Maybe 50 with 10 reserved slots once that functionality is enabled.

I've been having a load of problem's connecting to the newly updated server's mainly getting stuck on loading...

Was a thread on the official forums about longest kill with a sniper rifle.

3000m was the winner in the end, TAC50.

Wont be beaten in Dayz due to view distance limitations. But you can try beat it in the editor.

What launcher are you using?

I'm using the ArmAII Launcher and I can have a load of different shortcuts for each version of DayZ/ArmA I want

I keep each version of DayZ in its own separate folder as if there were each different mods.
So for 1.7.1.4 I'll have mod=@DayZ1.7.1.4 in the shortcut.

Just had an interesting experience on IE1 that will probably lead me to avoid new survivors rather than help them, which is what I usually try to do.

I was heading out of cherno after gathering some good supplies after a fresh spawn (got some camo, AKM, M1911). I decided to check out the construction site just east of cherno while I was on my out.

I went inside and straight to the 2nd floor. I looked down and saw a survivor with just a hatchet, he was killing some zombies. I decided to tell him in direct chat that I would not shoot. He came upstairs but he came a different route so that he was out of melee range but could still see me. I saluted and went downstairs to drop some morphine I agreed to give him (incase he needed it later on). As I got down there I looked around and could not see him. He asked me to come to him as there was AKM mags, I declined as I already had enough.

I started to drop some morphine on a loot pile so that he could pick them up. I was just about to tell him there was morhpine on the tank trap downstairs for him to pick up when he suddenly charged at me and took a swing with his axe, I lost about 4500 blood (that thing is pretty powerful) I quickly turned and unloaded my AKM into his bandit-ass face. I didn't even feel good that I'd gotten a bandit kill.

I felt so betrayed becuase we were both talking so nicely to eachother and I'd even offered him supplies so he wouldn't have to head deep into cherno (I wasn't stupid enough to offer him a gun at least). If I was in his situation I'd have taken the supplies and been grateful I hadn't been shot on sight.

Well there you go, I guess there's not much trust left in this game =( =(

We're both still playing 1.7.1.5 and stayed on the boards server which has yet to have been updated so they shouldn't have any problems until we update..

Newly respawned, no gear, running about in Elektro. Suddenly this sniper in a ghillie with a Barrett runs up to me "GET ON THE F***ING GROUND NOW! GET ON THE F***ING GROUND NOW, OR YOU DIE!"(obnoxious American accent ✔)

I'm looking at him thinking "I have nothing to lose, what makes you think I'll do anything you say?!" So I run off, and of course he shoots me. :pac:

anyone know where I can download the 1.7.1.5 dayz install so I can downgrade. only having partial luck connecting with the latest patch
