    There is no money in porn anymore, there was a great article recently in the Guardian.

    You basically be offered a hundred bucks to be in a movie and catch a load on your face, then that will be it. Even the well known stars are making **** all anymore.

    How the industry works has been told by countless pornstars. It's not glamourous or hot. It's fake and repetitive. They say so. It's only made to look like that for the camera.

    Do you think I'm going into this with a 14 year old's attitude of "sex as my job?!? Fcuk yeah!!" no but I have the option available to me and the insight of someone who is in the industry so it's on my conscience.

    And what would you know about the gay porn industry or porn industry for that matter? I've been talking to a guy who's done it and researching more about it.
    So could you divert your insults away from me and offer your opinion on how this might effect me in future thanks.

    Unfortunately 18 is the entry point into porn generally. But guys can enter a lot later than women but it's harder to get work.

    Regretting it later on is halting my decision making right now. But I will send pics. I can always refuse.

    The one thing you will need to consider is that it's hard to keep a stage name without your real name getting out there.

    As such, in the future, you go for a job interview, they do a quick google expecting to find maybe a Facebook or LinkedIn and instead find links to some of the videos.

    Might not make the best impression.

    Yeah I thought about that straight away. Especially for gay porn it would spread like wildfire if the audience found out I was Irish.
    I can't think of any Irish guys doing mainstream porn and even the guy I got talking to isn't very mainstream.

    OP your life but maybe you should talk to a career advice person and not a porn star. Down the line you might regret it and if you sign a contract with a production company you might have to do stuff you don't want to do and breach of contract means they'll sue your ass.

    "Amateur" porn is the current professional porn. It's litteraly a market anybody can do be it something along the lines of web chat streams or a certain site where people sell clips.

    Than in itself, plus pirarcy pretty much beat the life out of the porno industry leaving it more of a pretty unsustainable career choice than it already was.

    I'm sorry if I appear to be attention seeking but yeah this is a possiblity for me. I'm fairly hung and have the look for it so it could be real easy money for me. I'd have to swallow some of my morals in order to do it but I think at a push, it could be done. There are very few options open to me right now I think I should consider all the things I'm thrown.

    If you get bored you can go man. I don't want to entertain you. Unless you're that way and is part of my target market. But that might not happen at all.
