I have played this game for hours and hours and I have never seen one canteen.

Yup, I seen you run into the bush, I shot. Then I heard you screaming, ran over to you - no weapon, so I left. I 100% did not know anyone else was there. Thanks but I really have been in 100's of building of all types, I have found several guns, lots of ammo, and enough parts to fix a few vehicles.

I have found food galore, bandages and pills but I have never even glimpsed a canteen:(.

Seriously, go back read through this thread from before the anti-boards lads came along. There was no bitching, no complaining, everybody was happy, there was just posts of our adventures and people asking for help. We had friendly competition with hawkeye and then these guys come along and the server, and this thread goes to absolute ****.

Heck even the time our camp got found the guy who found it recorded it, came on boards and posted the video and we congratulated and had a laugh about it.

to be fair, i think your best bet to solve all this trouble of server hopping and disconnects, would be to post the entire server log.

and not just a stupid simple copy/paste like what vti done, as people can very easily accidently on purpose leave info out.

you should post the server log to show who, wether they be boards/anti boards/ hermaphrodite, disconnected and then reconnected soon afterward.

if you plan on so readily threatening month and perma bans, then you should prove why you are threatening it, instead of just retardedly demanding some mickey mouse apology to try make yourself feel a little bit bigger.

and the end of the day, as a server admin, you should even just try be somewhat impartial. at the moment from what ive taken from the last couple of pages, you have 2 sets of people, claiming someone different disconnected, and as the server admin, its down to you to show who did.

so why not post the log file.

I am staying away from boards server because I am allergic to drama. I don't care who is causing it.

I play games to relax and get away from the stresses of life, not to open up a whole new realm to brand new stresses.

From what I have read and from what I can gather from this thread there is a big fraternity vibe coming from this game. And that would be fine if it stayed in the game and did not cause all these arguments. The point of the game from what I understand is to survive, be that alone or with a group. What I don't like is one group holding all the cards as far as bans and such go. Of course there has to be admins but maybe bans should be left to a public vote or some sort of peer judgement, especially bans lasting as long as a month or perma bans. The jury could be from all over the server. A random pick so to speak rather then one Fraternity.

As for the public viewing of the log file I think that is a great idea. Does dayz generate a txt file for the logs? If so making it available via ftp or a live update of it online would be the best idea?

I could post the server log but seen as the player admitted to disconnecting what's the point, if apologised it was a week he didn't so it was a month then insulted people so dreamers75 said its a perm ban so I support that. If you want access to log files go start a server

After a chat with dreamers75 he's been banned as well for a short while, he thought it wasn't fair not to get one too.

Anyway try to keep it civil. I don't think this thread really is the place for server issues.

DayZ is the complete wrong game for someone who is looking for a relaxing stress free time.

Im not about to post up ~5hrs of server related logs on here, purely out of respect for the rest of the lads who use the forums.

Im being totally impartial on this game, but in the last few hours I've experience more disconnects since I started playing this game, I posted up the most pertinent information which you can either lump or love.

But AGAIN, as Retr0gamer has requested in the past, this is NOT a place for anything server related, however the official dayz forums is.

It is an incredible game, the level of lasting playability is just as incredible too lol

There are some situations where your just as nervous a few months in as when you just first started playing!

We played on this server since the start btw.

It all started when we set this up just to have fun. You banned thorno when we set up the "clan", and acted like a bunch of dictators. After seeing how horribly your taking advantage of the admin right's we decided to act on it. Now that you have people on your server who don't spend 20 mins filling up a tin can (no offence, I probably did the same

), you're not happy with it because we ask questions. If you were transparent, we would have no problem, but you're not. Any time we have a question - it's answered with childish comments about going to mommy.
