I discovered by accident you can climb the ladder on the outside of the fire tower from the inside if you look at the wall....
Just did exactly that accidentally in Cherno too!
Had finally got my first weapons in the Cherno supermarket, and took out a bunch of Zs there too, while another survivor danced...
Got mauled by a couple that came straight through shelving units, and legs broken by one that was only a shoulder and head sticking up out of the floor...
Made it crawling with blurry vision to the fire station and ended up doing that, then when I finally got down again, got killed by another Z that came through a wall. 0 -

Heh, finally got that prick in the apartments in Berezino. Took two of us out as we ambled gaily past so we camped him out and ninja sniped him in the head. Ghillie suit, ak, svd. I built a tank trap in his honour. We also removed some of the wires so you can get into the apartments now, public service

Also whoever was cutting barb wire at the supermarket you should be more aware of your surroundings...... Since I was a foot away from you and pointing a gun at your head.

Yeah that was good crack, I was the other hatchet man. Though I just got the AK74 as you left. Ended up for north in Dolina but the other guy got a broken leg and we just managed to crawl out of the city after a big fire fight. I went looking for morphine but to no avail. You have to go to places where there are guns, deer stands, barns, stations etc, they aren't always there but once you know where to look the game becomes much better. http://dayzdb.com/map#5.105.105
The red towers are deer stand, the green exclamtion points are barns. Once you get your bearings it is a lot easier to find them.

But how I supposed to figure out where i am on that map? All the towns look the same?
I keep spawning near a lighthouse on an island, but I can't see it on that map. There are several Islands.0
