Thinking now of replacing all four struts with Bilsteins, bill is getting a bit out of hand though. Might just do the rear end and save for the front. Any good suppliers in the UK?

Careful with your choice of Bilstein, some are really harsh.
You can get OEM sachs from a good few local motor factors.

I see that, are Sachs the OEM strut in an E38? I'd gladly go with them. All I want is a smooth comfortable ride with factory height.

Gonna give mine a good wash and polish tomorrow, take out my Neptune Demon ECU and replace it with the stock one then get some pics for the donedeal ad

My arse is officially in gear

When I feel sad about selling my Civic I look at this pic and for me this is the bigger picture :D

Thats the look I'm after my my DC2, apart from the intercooler ;) and possibly a different wing

    Sure they are
    Have a look here.
    http://www.eurocarparts.com/shock-absorber

They are still about 150 euro a corner, and that's for standard suspension, not taking into consideration if you have sport suspension etc.
Also you need to change your top mounts and possibly springs.
So yeah you are looking at 1G more or less for the job.
I think from the dealer, the shocks alone, Sachs/Boge still, will are around 2G.

    Try OTTO in Tallaght too.

    Thanks for that.
I looked on EuroCP already today, they don't have the sport struts. In fact, I can't find the OEM sport struts anywhere except from BMW. Any clue where I might find them? See the 2 part no's at below link.

Yep it's awesome :) just make sure not to use a normal carwash as that will strip the wax.
claying it does wonders for the wax as well :D

Yeah it's good gear alright, I have two coats of it on the Golf now and it beads nicely! Really brought up the paint.

Autoglym resin polish, i've had it for ages, haven't used it all that much. But it seems pretty good.
