Hi Guys,

New enough to this but need a code for my 6000cd mondeo radio. jumped it yesterday and the radio now requires a code.

Took out the radio just there and found the m number to be:

M299814.

If anyone could get me the unlock code for this id greatly appreciate it.

The dealer will charge 20E for that service (Renault Naas), if you know how to remove/pull back the radio, the code should be on top of the unit.
Also have a look in the car - if there is a book the code can be hand written on one of the pages in service book/manual.

Note that every time you attempt to put code in, the radio locks for few minutes before you try again, so make sure to wait 10 minutes before you try another one.

Not unless a previous owner has had it out and wrote it on it. It would defeat the purpose of a security code if it was written on it from the factory.

You are right, the only reason it was written on mine was that it has been replaced at some point, so the code from the book didn't match.
There is small chance op's radio was replaced too in the past, as those units like to give some trouble after years...

The same thing happened to me after removing a battery. I rang the dealer and he gave me the code over the phone....no charge!

Hey lads.. In a bit of a bind, got a new battery and water pump in the Ford Fiesta and lost the radio. Its a 4500, the serial number is M124650. Is there anywhere I could get this code? Cheers guys.

I've had to change the battery on my Mondeo and the radio is asking for a four digit code.

Radio Model: 7000 RDS
Radio Serial Number: M049344

If anyone could assist me in finding a code for the radio I would be extremely grateful.
