Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Your address on the top right corner, with the date of the letter beneath it. under that on the left side the name and adress of the person your writing to, and next you have Re: with a one line description of the problem on the next line you have dear sir/manager etc and then you start the letter with saying what you bought, where and when you bought it, whats wrong with what you bought, how you feel about it, what you want done about it (refund, repair or replacement) then your sincerely and a signature, and then your name in capital letters under

    Thanks :)

    P2
Have no idea I'm learning assessing a business and marketing plus the three guaranteed.

Not sure whether I've posted this already but ah well, I'm quite confident that a knight, and an artist from the Renaissance is going to come up. Anyone got any predictions on the second part?

I got 18/20 on Washington in the mocks, that was without studying him.. I think I'll just take a look at him and a factory worker and hope for the best. :)

the moment i look at questions on the history papers i forget everything i've studied.
i was like "I KNOW THIS. I'VE STUDIED THIS. BUT I CANT REMEMBER"
am i the only one? :/

  • Registered Users Posts: 217 ✭✭IceCreamGirl

im just wondering is the examiner who is gonna correct my papers ONLY correcting the papers from my school OR are they correcting papers from other schools as well?

  • Registered Users Posts: 102 ✭✭tornados2111

I think its from other schools too, they will get a pack with loads of exam papers but never get told which school they're from, all of them are mixed up

does anyone check our lab books for science ( with our experiments written up ) As in do we have to bring them in to school tomorrow for them to be taken up by the examiner.?

ours were takin by our teacher and locked in because the correcter comes to the school like they do for woodwork. they dont even get checked half the time and we just get the marks by default. :)

what should i know for the question on design in woodwork? :)

For the question on design, be able to describe the different stages (design ideas/solutions, evaluation, working drawings, etc.)
Be able to suggest a suitable wood to use - so learn advantages of a few woods.
And know how to list some design requirements of whatever it is you have to design.
And of course, be able to design, sketch and label whatever they throw at you :)

The marking scheme says full marks for well-drawn, well-balanced sketch including notes - best try to be original too, like not just a shelf..
