At what age does someone being a virgin a dealbreaker for you?

    Today I had a conversation about someone saying they were still a virgin and that they think they'll always be one. And seeing some posts on here how much it bothers them and how its affects the likelyhood of them ever being in a relationship.

    That got me wondering, at what age would being a virgin be a deal breaker.

    Ok, so you meet this guy/girl. They are perfect for you in every way. They take you out and it was an instant connection, something you've been waiting for your entire life. In the course of the evening they do or say something that makes you think, "This is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."

    But over the course of talking throughout the week you come to find that they're a virgin. You've been inside their home and there's no lampshades made of human skin, they have actual friends, healthy relationship with their mother, etc etc.

    My female friends say that it wouldn't matter. Another friend said that after about 26 it'd be a bit weird. What says Boards? And if it would be a deal breaker, why?

    ETA: For the sake of this poll "After 20" means older than 21. "After 30" means older than 31 etc. If it's, for example 26 click After 20 and clarify in response. Thank you.

    No way....I like older men purely because they are more likely to know their way around the bedroom.

    Theres no way i could be with him. Id probably break him the first time.

    What are we talking here, they want to stay a virgin until marriage? they will give it up after a few months?

    I don't think it'd bother me in itself, once they weren't a no sex before marriage type, that would be a dealbreaker.

    EDIT: It wouldn't be a problem for me, some people are just not that great when it comes to the opposite or same sex, whatever way you're inclined.

    I have no problem saying I had my own problems in that sense. Some people take longer than others when it comes to getting to that stage with someone.

    I'd probably get a good thrill out of being a guy's first tbh, and teaching someone the ropes would prob be incredibly hot if there was really strong chemistry between the two of you.

    What a comprehensive poll, well done you. I went with over 40, think at that age it might be a bit weird to be going and breaking a lovely woman's cherry, not for me anyway.

    Don't worry, OP - it'll be fine. Just tell your gf that you're a virgin. It's unlikely that she'll mind. And sure if she does, isn't better that you find out now?

    I'm 36 and male, (and single, girls of AH) to be honest any girl in my "age range" I would expect to have quite a bit of experience, and quite frankly theres nothing worse than someone over 25 with no idea of bed/sex etiquette
