But he played in Germany - last time I looked thats very much in the EU???

Each country has their own restrictions on work permits.
Some countries are a lot more relaxed than the UK.
He should have no problem getting a permit as he's a special talent.
I'm sure the Man United legal team will have looked in to the fact he doesn't meet the initial criteria.

3/5 chance of Jong Il-Gwan moving to Newcastle now it seems. They face competition from PSV and Partizan Belgrade for his signature though.

Dynamo Moscow have agreed a fee for Krancjar according the official Spurs site

Quite inconsistent albeit a lack of game time didn't help, but when on song, a lovely player to watch.

#Inter have signed Rodrigo Palacio from #Genoa, paying around €11m for the 30 year-old.

That just makes no sense to me. A good player yes, but €11m for him at 30 years old? Not for me, poor business by Inter although hardly surprising because their signings over the last year have been very uninspiring.

Inter have a history of over paying for old players in fairness

    Diego Milito

Overpaying was probably the wrong choice of words looking back, they are not afraid to spend money.

He did pretty well in fairness! 22 goals in 35 appearances first season amounting to 51 in 91 overall up to now. Also his deal was a part exchange deal that was undisclosed but himself and Thiago Motta were swapped for five players and some cash. Deal looked a good one!

Oh Im not criticizing the signing of Milito, he has been brilliant for them, my point was that they will spend money on a player regardless of the age of the player, I admit I choose my words incorrectly.

I think they do great business to be honest! Since 08/09 season they have spent an average of between 4 and 5 million taking into account sales too.

Since winning the treble Inter have been making awful transfers, selling players like Eto'o, Balotelli and Thiago Motta and bringing in players like Forlan and Palacio. Palacio is not good enough for Inter imo and is too old, especially seeing as this season is supposed to be for rebuilding, I'd rather see Coutinho, Alvarez or even Longo play than waste money on him.

They paid pennies for himself and Motta and those players become vital to their CL win.

    Terrible example.

They signed players who were edging 30 alright, Lusic, Samuel etc, but they never paid much for them.

    Ben Foster to QPR possibly.

I'm a big fan of Palacios but a right fit for this Inter team? I know what will solve all our problems, sign another trequartista!

So Asamoah is definitely out then, but have Juve got him tied up?

    It's Dynamo Kiev, not Moscow.
