Why would you play a FPS port on a 5" screen though, they are just going down the same road as the PSP.

Don't underestimate the power of COD to the masses.

Here we go, assassins creed. Sony learning nothing from the PSP. The DS and IOS have been so successful because they have games that work within the constraints of handheld games. Traditional games like that just don't work.

They've never had the control set-up to do so, with the Vita they do now.

Its just bribing the audience to get them clapping more

    Quite sad tbh

All the professional reporters/groups tend to give them away any way, as seen with the release of the slim 360 and many other.

It's nothing to do with controls.

Looks good, but looks like too much going on for a small screen. Reminds me of when my brother told me he watched the first Michael Bay Transformers movie on his PSP

Well graphically that was damn impressive.

You aren't getting what I'm saying. It's not about controls but the type of game. Most traditional games aren't suited to handheld gaming. I'm not talking about controls, it's more how the game is suited to playing on the move and in short bursts.

I disagree entirely. First person shooters like COD just couldn't work without two analogue sticks at all and action-adventure games always felt limited and constrained by the sacrifices they had to make to try and squeeze the action onto a d-pad or single analogue nub.

Metroid Hunters is the only game that even came even close to being playable and even that was only manageable for 30 minutes max before cramp set in.

Is it just me or is there a ridiculous amount of screen tearing?

He isn't talking about the controls. He means that people use handhelds in 20-30 minute periods for the most part and FPS games that you would usually play for hours on end on consoles wouldn't be suited to the handheld gamer.

They're not completed products. Nailing down perdormance is something that happens right at the end before shipping.
